Excellent - nice to see that the DeNoise AI and it's fellow programs are not forgotten with the introduction of Photo AI - I like the masking section and how you reduced the sharpness by decreasing the opacity.....somethin learned for me!!
You say that, but Sharpen AI hasn't had any updates for nearly 12 months which is why I haven't paid for another 12 months of updates to it or Denoise (which I don't use any more). Once Topaz start investing in the product again I'll renew...
@@shortie8512 Agree - I should have mentioned that too. My comment was around the fact that nobody has done much in the way of DeNoise AI etc since Photo AI came out and it is good to see them not forgotten by the youtubers. Photo AI seems to have all the attention and the other 3 main programs that you and I and many others have paid to receive updates, have been very much neglected in the update department
Perhaps mention in passing that the different spellings of JPG/JPEG and TIF/TIFF correspond to bit depth (8 or 16 bit), One should process or edit in 16 bit and render/save/export in 8 bit.
Fair enough. Though my reasoning is that I find that whenever I've reviewed photos where I've used Sharpen I've cut back on it because I dont like what i feel is the artiificial look. It's not that it's been overdone it doesn't look natural to meat any level. Most if not all my shots just require Denoise when I apply the Photo AI. In my view Photo AI makes the other Topaz apps redundant with the recent upgrades.
Interesting variation to workflow. I like it. Your using of Denoise and Sharpen has confused me. Why wouldn't you have used Photo AI to expedite work flow?
Because he's not teaching how to use Photo AI. He's teaching how to use Sharpen AI as a standalone program. Maybe you want to know why he's teaching how to use Sharpen AI as a standalone program rather than Photo AI. The reason is that some people own and use Sharpen AI. I hope my response makes sense.
Hi Anthony, what are your thoughts on using Topaz denoise and sharpen ai on pics generated by Leonardo ai? Is it necessary to use denoise and sharpen ai or just upscale with gigapixel ai?
I'm finding these Topaz Labs tutorials so helpful! (Any tips on why my rendering time is so long on each change? My computer has plenty of power but I'm finding the image processing time frustrating. Same for updates. It appears it downloads the entire program again each time an update is available and it takes 10-15 minutes each time.)
U could get urself a GPU with Nvidia Tensor cores. I use a Quadro gpu based on the Turing architecture n my Update times are 2-5s at the most. All this bcz Topaz has shifted from nvidiaCUDA to nvidiaTensorRT coding .

Great video. Nice and easy to follow and understand. Thank you for sharing. 👍🏻
Thank you Anthony, again another excellent tutorial!
Thanks Anthony! You nailed it as usual. Just an excellent one and I appreciate the partial masking portion of the video. Hope you are well, Robert
Thank you, learned several new processes and will change my workflow.

Hi Anthony, very useful, your demonstration of manipulation of the mask. What I do wonder is, what are your tell-tale signs of oversharpening?
May I ask what screen capturing software you use make your RUclipss?

I see absolutely no difference between before and after? Old monitor maybe?
