Now thats my kind of place to fish. Not easy to get to but worth the trip. Especially love the fact that there's no boat traffic in those kinds of areas. Just you and nature while catching fish. 👊👍
Thanks Greg... What a relaxing day of fishing.. That's the most that I ever seen you catch on the glide bait. On a different video I seen a guy catch bass , but fishing it just the OPPOSITE.. Instead of slow, he he jerked It as fast as a jerk bait. He said they're afraid they will get away and strike instead of just following it.. He caught bass .. The Frye Guy.
This is why I love the Delta.. .It's a different adventure every time you go out, even when you return to your regular spots. Cheers Greg and Tight Lines!!
This one reminds me of that mammoth sized salmon you caught here. Glad to see the bite is on at this spot though, it's one of my regulars. Word of advice, put your pedal drive at the very back of your kayak on the trip to and from the dock. Makes that journey just a little easier. Thank you sir!
At 10:04 in the video you are in the exact spot I lost my ultralight rod. It had slipped out of my rod holder when I was landing a fish and hadn’t noticed until about an hour later. I searched and searched with no luck. I got home later that day and looked at pictures of the fish I had taken and deduced the general area it might be, went back in the morning on my paddle board and found it pretty much right away. I’m lucky it was low tide and the water was clear-ish. It was in about two and a half feet of water. Still have that setup and it still works perfectly after having spent the night underwater. Going back and finding that rod is one of my proudest moments.
Watching one eat your glide changes your life! I caught my first solid glidebait fish a little over a month ago and I've already dropped $$$ on a few more deps!
Dude I was applauding when you pulled out the Berkeley glide and got that chunk! Glide fishing looks like so much fun; even the near misses are so exciting. I have a hundred bucks of Berkley Nessies on backorder with TW, a tray full, and can't wait to fish them!
I would have voted spinner bait/jig. When you talked about building confidence in a new technique it took on another light. The last season that technique for me was a swim jig. It will go through anything in the ponds around me in MA. Thank you!
Thanks Greg for releasing this video just before Thanksgiving. It allows us to enjoy your fishing adventures before all my relatives and friends enjoy the festivities which start tonight through tomorrow. Happy Thanksgiving to you and keep your videos coming...
I have to go do the family thing the rest of the week so no fishing 😢. Thank you GB - you made my Thanksgiving! Great day on the water and definitely nice to see you not give up on the glide and switch to the jig. Awesome 😎
Love this video..one of my favorites of all time and I've seen all of them.Way to go Greg !!sidenote that bird eating the catfish looked like me with a double double after a night out with the Boyz 😂
Happy Thanksgiving, GB! Thank you for the great video adventures and your unique buttery-smooth editing and B-roll breaks. Keep 'em coming! Looking forward to where you take us in '24.
I wish the fish in my local river would turn on like this! I haven't caught more than a dink or 2 on a fishing trip for the last 6 months! I don't know what is going on, because last year was one of my best years ever...
Thanks for listening to the viewers keeping with the Glide bait 😂 Come join us in February for the Sturgeon Sleigh Ride in Portland area! Tight lines from the PNW 🎣
Ah yes good coffee ,and Greg Killin It on a day of fishing. Man you killed it and I think the jig was the best. Everything else produced but the jig caught most of the big ones. Hope you have an AWESOME Thanksgiving Greg can't wait for the next one.
Still dishing out content, good stuff GB. Watching this while I render a recent trip. Woo!!! Is this where you’ve taken Ty? I voted glidebait as well lol. You’re just showing off now, Mr. AOY, with all those extra catches lol.
Hey Greg. Happy Thanksgiving! I have two questions: 1. You do such a great job narrating your trips/vids. I have found I learn a lot based upon listening to your thought process as you fish. The question is, do you find that you narrate (out loud) other parts of your life that are NOT on camera? I just find that would be a hard habit to break. 2. Have you ever considered doing a catch and cook with some stripers? I'd love a good fish taco recipe. Thanks for posting!
Happy thanksgiving! Those are good questions. Honestly I am typically pretty quiet and reserved for the most part and narrating these trips has just been something that I've enjoyed and developed overtime but otherwise I don't in other parts. Actually have done a few catch and cooks with striper and though they weren't videos specific to that, the results were honestly amazing. Chef-boy-Aldie deserves the compliments - ruclips.net/video/aLo80rvf6mw/видео.html
Nice on the Nessie. This was great to see in a kayak. I'm a hypocrite as I wasn't a fan due to the Flag bait and the copy controversy...that said I've come around. Very cost effective bait with great forage options for guys who don't geek out on glides etc. I tried one in perch up here in NH but the season is over. Looking forward to chucking near wood this spring! Thanks for showing it! Be nice to hear your rod and reel selections for it.
@@MarkoMygun yea I know. All youtubers pump their products in the description. My point was that he used them in a situational setting and showed some how to use the bait.
The knock off culture of tackle sucks, but man when these companies have zero stock and they are $100 apiece, its hard to fault berkely for coming out with a $10 version that consumers can actually get their hands on.
@@MJ_Bass agree. I mean it's a copy but they also added to a new category (soft glides) that no doubt will grow. I own a Flag and it took awhile to source and the price is silly. It's a great bait and made better for sure. I only had an exception with the Icast award and Mike Iconelli having the podcast about how Berkley designed it after he posted a pic earlier with a Flag 😂 I don't blame guys for buying the nessie at 8 or 9 dollars. Hell, I'd rather hang a Nessie in lay downs vs a Flag. Plus the more US based forage colors are nice.
HAI YA is a phrase I was yelling when those big fish kept missing the Glide 😂 It was amazing that the secluded area you were in held so much quality bass. By the way, after seeing that Blue Heron, I'm glad I'm not a catfish LOL Thanks for sharing another informative video - hope you and your family have a fantastic Thanksgiving 🤗🦃🤗
Beautiful day, awesome location. All around great video. I'm hoping for a day similar to this after the holiday. 🤞🙏🤞🙏 Wish you and yours a happy Thanksgiving and I'll be looking forward to the next video.🍻🍻🎉 I'm sure I'm not alone when I say," Thanks, for taking us with you."
I’ve always wondered, how long does it take for you to load up and how early do you show up before an event? If first launch is 6:00am, I’m there at 5:45, load anywhere from 2-5 mins and I’m gone.
Can't complain! Yea, it gets a decent amount of pressure but it's a place that as I said is hit or miss. I truly believe fish are only in there certain times of year and most of the time it's pretty much a desert. got lucky on this day and they were there
Hey Greg huge fan here! Judging on the lakes you’ve fished you can’t be far from White Pines lake! Extremely small lake challenging conditions however 9-10 pound monsters in the lake! I wish the lake all the time you should check it out sometime
Was that Nessie the 7 or 9 inch version? I’m so exited to try them out what colors would you recommend something plain or something more colorful like a trout pattern?
Hey Greg, what rod were you using to throw that Nessie? Looked like it handled it pretty well. Looking to get into the glide bait world, and this seems like the perfect entry bait!
The glides are such a strange bait. They can absolutely be the deal and get giants, but the amount of follows and terrible landing percentage makes it completely unreliable. I need to integrate it into my fishing more for sure, but man I can only really see busting one out once I have a decent limit.
Good morning, coffee peeps!
Watched this later in the day... Missed out on the coffee...😢
Now thats my kind of place to fish. Not easy to get to but worth the trip. Especially love the fact that there's no boat traffic in those kinds of areas. Just you and nature while catching fish. 👊👍
Thats the best part! I love fishing in hard to reach areas that nobody goes to...It's nice to get some peace and quite!
Yessir! totally agree and going "light" and fishing smaller areas with less traffic is always a nice change
I see you use a spinnerbait often but rarely see you use a chatter bait why? When do you pick one over the other and why? What conditions?
Thanks
Love that area you're fishing. The herring / catfish scene was cool. Well, not so cool for the catfish! 😂.
Thanks fof taking us along again.
Thanks Greg... What a relaxing day of fishing.. That's the most that I ever seen you catch on the glide bait.

Badass throwing the glide bait!! Great to see!!
Yeah, his cast accuracy is amazing. I wanna be him when I grow up.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING GREG! 🦃☕🍻
Happy thanksgiving dude!
Favorite video of the year for sure.

Thanks for pumping out all the videos Greg they get me through working a slow job!
Enjoyed this one a ton, lol’d at the “picking up the phone slowing down your fishing” comment, so true.
Good day out thanks for taking us along. 👍
👍 Nice day of fishing. Great how you were able to get footage of the bird swallowing a catfish.
Watching one eat your glide changes your life! I caught my first solid glidebait fish a little over a month ago and I've already dropped $$$ on a few more deps!
haha i feel ya on that, the bite is so fun it'll def be a bigger player for me next year
24:30 to 24:50, best casting montage ever!
I love the herons , I have one that sits behind me and waits for any squawfish I catch . I’ve seen them eat rats , or gophers too.
morning coffee and a video to watch, then maybe ill go out myself on the Oroville afterbay
Had a pretty good day there over the weekend. Caught a good handful on a red chatterbait.
That was a SWEET day!! Great video, Thanks Greg for sharing.
Thanks for the video. Nice relaxing video to watch as I sit here in the cold ,wishing I was fishing. Like the new camera angle, too.
Truly a amazing day of fishing. That had to feel so great setting the hook. 👍🏾
You know us too well Greg😂, I think we choose the glide because it's the more competitive for yourself,. 👍
Dude I was applauding when you pulled out the Berkeley glide and got that chunk! Glide fishing looks like so much fun; even the near misses are so exciting. I have a hundred bucks of Berkley Nessies on backorder with TW, a tray full, and can't wait to fish them!
Awesome man! they're fish catchers for sure when they're in the mood. You're going to put some big ones in the boat!
I would have voted spinner bait/jig. When you talked about building confidence in a new technique it took on another light. The last season that technique for me was a swim jig. It will go through anything in the ponds around me in MA. Thank you!

Awesome Greg, finally got one on a big swim bait!!!
Thanks, Greg, for throwing that glide. Mine are in the mail and watching you inspires me to give it a good try. Happy Thanksgiving, friend.
Awesome Billy! they should put some good ones in the boat for sure. Happy thanksgiving!

That was an incredible day of fishing, Greg!!! Thanks again for sharing another great video with us!!! That bird eating the catfish 😮😂
Thanks Sandy, I had no idea they could eat a fish that big in one gulp haha
@@GregBlanchardFishing me neither ❣️❣️❣️
Dude love watching your videos, I’ve learned a lot from your content over the last few years. Keep slaying them bud.
Dude you definitely called that bass on the big glide bait. Very nice Greg🙂🍺
That Blue Heron had a nice day fishing too.
Let's go GB, always go for the gusto. I was thinking glide also, but heck what do i know as my fishing sucks last two years for the lack of trying.

Great video,,,Greg isn't the other type of pedal kayak easier than the bicycle type. I feel your feet go higher and will cause more fatique?
Awesome dude! Thanks
The area reminds me of your old stomping ground in New York (marina and lay downs).
Excellent video sir.
GB never asks for subs or 👍. So make sure you do both. Only wanna see you grow GB. I look forward to your vids every week. Thanks bro
Nice going , lots of solid bass, i would not be telling people about location, nice little honey hole, chatter bait should bave been good.
We need you to do a cross county tour hitting new lakes and rivers.
Congrats on AOY........have a great Thaksgiving and good luck in 2024
long casts with the glide i think are the key, hard to do on a windy day with how well they catch air
Good morning redbull peeps

When you step into the water does your shoe get wet inside too. You should try fishing at lake pardee Greg

Great vidieo that looked really fun. Happy thanksgiving man.

Scam???
How do you like those wheels vs the inflatable ones?
How did you like the deeper??

Coffee family Thanksgiving around the corner and GB video let's go baby I have my coffee
What kind of boots are those? I might actually try to fish on my yak in this cold Florida winter coming up…
