Wonpil made this song into something powerful, he made the chorus into something really special. Junhyeok had a really mainly voice while Wonpils is like honey, complete opposites. Like I love Junhyeok but the original ver. he didn't really catch me off guard because Sungjin also has a mainly voice but in this ver. I was completely caught off guard. I know we all miss Junhyeok but he ain't dead. Just love this ver. because it's a work of art

He was was in charge of keyboards and got the high notes/hook parts as his voice range was amazing. YoungK was in fact just left as a rapper and rarely had singing parts. He and JH had about the same voice range, JH's voice was just softer.
i love him so much i can't even explain. i can't believe some people are trashing on his voice. he has one of the sweetest voices in my opinion and anything he sings draws me in. i can't imagine hating someone as precious as him

In my opinion the final version, is better than the original. There's just something about Wonpil's voice when it cuts through the emotional heaviness of Sungjin's, like a different level of sadness and longing is being added into the song.
I actually just recently became a fan but I've listened to both versions. The original one is already able to make you feel the sadness and longing even across the language barrier but the final version is just heart-wrenching. It's sad that they lost a member but Day6 did a great job returning to their old songs.

It’s funny because I didn’t have to look up the lyrics for it to be connecting with me in some sort. Like I listened to it the first time and it hurt me so much inside I didn’t understand what they were saying but I could still feel it through the way they presented their music. Day6 being capable of that from the beginning is really incredible. I've been at the concert in Berlin and when they played colors, nearly everyone took their phone out and put their lights on. This was so beautiful to watch, there were so many shining colors. I had tears in my eyes... there are no words to describe this beautiful feeling

I didn't listen to the original version all that much simply because I found Day6 in February 2017 and was overwhelmed with the EveryDay6 project and all the music and covers they had and made. So I remember listening to Colors in December, haha, and thinking, "wow Junhyeok, just wow". So yeah I really liked it and I liked his part a lot. But somehow listening to this one I got absolutely hooked on it, I just had to replay it on and on. It's been a week and I'm still coming back to it after playing like 2 or 3 other Day6 songs, hehe. Like a loop. Idk man. I think it's simply how Day6 as a band grew (so fast!) that made them have this great touch to their music, final touch if you will, which was not quite there in the beginning.
@@essennagerry Truuuuue! JH was truly great but his departure really opened doors for the remaining members. Who would have thought that YoungK has that lyrics genius side of him that he hid for so long so as to cater JH's compositions. And he was merely given rap lines because JH already had the melodic parts. But wow the impact of his departure- DAY6 began producing sadder songs and even ventured to the dark side of YoungK and WonPil's world. It still amazes me to this day. 💙

What if Eminem was part of Day6? :D Day6 is awesome and Eminem is awesome but both shine better on their own, right? I'm sure Day6 would've been awesome _with_ Junhyeok and sometimes I really wonder what if we had his contributions still. What would iz be like now? What would their music be? But the truth is it wouldn't have been like: current Day6 in all their colors and full bloom + Junhyeok, it would've been different. I'm sure it would've been very good. But different! And the Day6 we have now, I really love it. I think they're just perfect. i remember colors is the song that make me crying for the first time i listen to it back then when i’m diving into their discography a day after i became their fans. even before i knowing the meaning. i can feelin it until my chest hurt, lol. my eyes just wet suddenly. theres something i can connect but can’t explain clearly what is that. i cry harder after i read the lyrics (again). especially sungjin’s voices, the emotional is too much, i can’t take it anymore. but, i think, it’s means day6 really express their song perfectly. they can give a feeling for the listeners just only with their voices and the song itself. no need to telling what their message in here. you can’t escape but will give your tears for this masterpiece.

Is it possible to have favourite DAY6' song? I don't think so. I still discover some songs I didn't hear yet and I just add them to 'my favourite favs'. And boy, Wonpil's vocals still killing me. I like both of two versions but honestly, this final ver has my vote. Each version has its own color . The original version, Junhyeok’s voice color remind me a large blue sky, it gave me an empty feeling and I want someone color me. But in this final ver, Wonpil ‘s voice sound like a red sunset which is exactly like in the lyrics, it’s so emotional and powerful at the same time, make the song to another level which i don’t know how to explain. All these comments about Junhyeok hurt my heart, I joined the fandom after he left but it still hurts me so much! Hearing all these "final versions" it makes me really sad, I always wonder how Day6 feels about it.
Half of these comments are trash, someone said wonpil was forcing his voice and another said he sounded nasally. Just cause someone with such raw talent is singing someone else’s part doesn’t mean you need to disrespect them, I interpret the final version to be a different song so I can have a developed outlook and Wonpil’s voice is bloody brilliant in this version!
Wonpil was amazing when they played the Youth tour in Toronto. I wish I could hear him sing this live. Seriously, he is stunning. Sunjins bridges are the best but Wonpil makes a song. I was so surprised.

Honestly: I have no bias in this group and have to say, that I like this "Final Version" way more, than the original one. Don't know, if it's Wonpil (damn, that powerful voice though!), but this version is my favourite one. I don't get the complains. 123Koizora123 I completely understand what you are saying. I joined the fandom after Junhyeok left, and I've listened to both versions of this song and I have to say I prefer this version more. Wonpil's voice in the chorus just brings another level of heaviness to the song, cutting through Sungjin's more manly voice with such a sweet sadness that's impossible to describe. Junhyeok's chorus didn't really do that for me, and Wonpil just absolutely killed his part, bringing more emotion to a song than I have ever experienced before. I get that people are upset about Junhyeok being removed for the "final" versions of these songs, but I feel like it symbolizes a new beginning for Day6. They're lacking one of their original members, sure, but this shows that they're strong enough to move past it and continue on without him, even though he'll always be in their hearts. The symbolism behind this is so fucking precious, as it shows that they miss him, but that they'll also remember him and hold him dear to their hearts. Us MyDays shouldn't be taking offense to this, we should be proud of our boys for their hard work and compassion, not to mention their talent. Even though this song doesn't have Junhyeok in it, I think it's a memorial to him and to what the band was like with him in it, and by comparing the differences between the two versions, we keep the memory of him alive. To a lot of us, he may as well have. I assume that you like bts or got7 or mx or seventeen or some other group. Imagine one of the members just basically disappeared. They either left the company all together or they started a solo career and no longer promote or work with their group. And then, that group decided to remake a bunch of the songs without that person in them. It would hurt a little bit, wouldn't it? And you would miss seeing this person with their group. So yeah, excuse some of us for being upset over these Final versions. They're beautiful still, and people can absolutely have a preference of one over the other, but they just hurt some of us to listen to.

It’s funny because I didn’t have to look up the lyrics for it to be connecting with me in some sort. Like I listened to it the first time and it hurt me so much inside I didn’t understand what they were saying but I could still feel it through the way they presented their music. Day6 being capable of that from the beginning is really incredible. I didn't listen to the original version all that much simply because I found Day6 in February 2017 and was overwhelmed with the EveryDay6 project and all the music and covers they had and made. So I remember listening to Colors in December, haha, and thinking, "wow Junhyeok, just wow". So yeah I really liked it and I liked his part a lot. But somehow listening to this one I got absolutely hooked on it, I just had to replay it on and on. It's been a week and I'm still coming back to it after playing like 2 or 3 other Day6 songs, hehe. Like a loop.
Idk man. I think it's simply how Day6 as a band grew (so fast!) that made them have this great touch to their music, final touch if you will, which was not quite there in the beginning.
@@essennagerry Truuuuue! JH was truly great but his departure really opened doors for the remaining members. Who would have thought that YoungK has that lyrics genius side of him that he hid for so long so as to cater JH's compositions. And he was merely given rap lines because JH already had the melodic parts.
But wow the impact of his departure- DAY6 began producing sadder songs and even ventured to the dark side of YoungK and WonPil's world. It still amazes me to this day. 💙

What if Eminem was part of Day6? :D Day6 is awesome and Eminem is awesome but both shine better on their own, right? I'm sure Day6 would've been awesome _with_ Junhyeok and sometimes I really wonder what if we had his contributions still. What would iz be like now? What would their music be? But the truth is it wouldn't have been like: current Day6 in all their colors and full bloom + Junhyeok, it would've been different. I'm sure it would've been very good. But different! And the Day6 we have now, I really love it. I think they're just perfect. The way they grew both as artists and as friends and people imho was just perfect so far and I do think they influenced each other. And of course how their music grew - again - perfect! In the Day6 we have now, I genuinelly wouldn't change a thing.
The rap parts? They're not bad but imho they don't quite fit in with this awesome music. :D I do enjoy them but I much prefer how they do it now - without rap parts. :D And this is comming from a hip-hop fan, you know, I love rap, it's not about me not liking rap or anything. And YoungK is a really gopd rapper too. (Just btw Jae is too like ahdjsbsvx)

I miss the rapper YoungK (and Jae) coz god knows how he's really one of those most effective rappers out there, he spits fire and pierces through your heart, but I wouldn't trade my wide vocal range and depressed YoungK for that rap god. I just love the man that he has become after JH left. It was as if he took it upon himself to write more, sing more and produce more while everyone else was grieving. And yeah I feel ya about YoungK - I'd love to hear him rap but in a hip-hop song or smth, not in a rock song. Not that their rap parts are bad but I feel their songs are even better without them. Only raps in rock I like are Day6 and N.Flying tbh and N.Flying reeeeally make it work well. And YoungK is damn good imo, so I'd love to hear more of his rap, just separately. Same goes for Jae. Goodness Jae's voice is eargasmic through and through, when he sings, when he raps, when he speaks, like what the heck Jae. i remember colors is the song that make me crying for the first time i listen to it back then when i’m diving into their discography a day after i became their fans. even before i knowing the meaning. i can feelin it until my chest hurt, lol. my eyes just wet suddenly. theres something i can connect but can’t explain clearly what is that. i cry harder after i read the lyrics (again). especially sungjin’s voices, the emotional is too much, i can’t take it anymore. but, i think, it’s means day6 really express their song perfectly. they can give a feeling for the listeners just only with their voices and the song itself. no need to telling what their message in here. you can’t escape but will give your tears for this masterpiece.

Is it possible to have favourite DAY6' song? I don't think so. I still discover some songs I didn't hear yet and I just add them to 'my favourite favs'. And boy, Wonpil's vocals still killing me. I like both of two versions but honestly, this final ver has my vote. Each version has its own color . The original version, Junhyeok’s voice color remind me a large blue sky, it gave me an empty feeling and I want someone color me. But in this final ver, Wonpil ‘s voice sound like a red sunset which is exactly like in the lyrics, it’s so emotional and powerful at the same time, make the song to another level which i don’t know how to explain. I think it resembles a strong desire and also a sincere petition. Well done Wonpil 👏🏻🎊❤️

Fuck yes! Hardly any differences, but I still can't get enough of this song because of the amazing ass guitar solo. Most of Day6's fandom dont really care for guitar solos, or things like that, but as a guitarist myself I care so freakin much. The solo in this song makes the song itself that much more meaningful because of the feel it has to go with the song.

Honestly: I have no bias in this group and have to say, that I like this "Final Version" way more, than the original one. Don't know, if it's Wonpil (damn, that powerful voice though!), but this version is my favourite one. I don't get the complains. If you like the original version more than this one here, you can always go to that version? Don't wanna offend anyone, but that one is avaiable on CD and RUclips and this one is also. So, why?
123Koizora123 I completely understand what you are saying. I joined the fandom after Junhyeok left, and I've listened to both versions of this song and I have to say I prefer this version more. Wonpil's voice in the chorus just brings another level of heaviness to the song, cutting through Sungjin's more manly voice with such a sweet sadness that's impossible to describe. Junhyeok's chorus didn't really do that for me, and Wonpil just absolutely killed his part, bringing more emotion to a song than I have ever experienced before. I get that people are upset about Junhyeok being removed for the "final" versions of these songs, but I feel like it symbolizes a new beginning for Day6. They're lacking one of their original members, sure, but this shows that they're strong enough to move past it and continue on without him, even though he'll always be in their hearts. The symbolism behind this is so fucking precious, as it shows that they miss him, but that they'll also remember him and hold him dear to their hearts. Us MyDays shouldn't be taking offense to this, we should be proud of our boys for their hard work and compassion, not to mention their talent. Even though this song doesn't have Junhyeok in it, I think it's a memorial to him and to what the band was like with him in it, and by comparing the differences between the two versions, we keep the memory of him alive. To a lot of us, he may as well have. I assume that you like bts or got7 or mx or seventeen or some other group. Imagine one of the members just basically disappeared. They either left the company all together or they started a solo career and no longer promote or work with their group. And then, that group decided to remake a bunch of the songs without that person in them. It would hurt a little bit, wouldn't it? And you would miss seeing this person with their group. So yeah, excuse some of us for being upset over these Final versions. They're beautiful still, and people can absolutely have a preference of one over the other, but they just hurt some of us to listen to.
