  • Glacier Bay National Park and Preserve in Alaska.
    Text of video:
Hey guys, want to see one of America’s least visited national parks? Glacier Bay National Park and Preserve in southeast Alaska may be for you. Under 90,000 people visited last year, compared to over 14 million for the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
There are 1,000 glaciers in the park, and many species of animals, such as eagles, bears, moose, whales, and seals. The park totals 5037 square miles of total area.
About 80% of Glacier Bay visitors come by cruise ships, which is what we did on the Norwegian Sun. Only 2 liners per day are allowed. You can also take seaplane tours of glaciers in the area from nearby Juneau, which we covered in a previous video.
If you do come by cruise ship, I highly recommend getting a balcony cabin. The views are definitely worth the extra cost.
Glacier Bay is a fun and unique vacation destination. If you get the chance to visit, we think you’ll love it as much as we did.
Please leave a comment if you are planning to or have visited the park. Also don’t forget to give a thumbs up and consider subscribing. Thanks for watching!
