Sydney Tramway Museum on stormy wet NIGHT 22 June 2024 with Nagasaki, R1 and P cars.

We arrive at sunset and ride to the Royal National Park in the DGT's last operating tram car R1 1979. Crossbench P class 1497 was well illuminated as darkness fell. Heavy showers punctuated the night with some distant lightning. Cameo glimses from Nagasaki, compare 1054 with the crowded Nagasaki tram scene at the Sydney Tramway Museum Extravaganza.

Great! There is something special about Sydney (and Nagasaki) trams at night - particularly full ones. I've been trying to (re)create a "mind's eye" of such scenes from my youth. This is pretty close.
