And this stands for the 99.999 % of the people watching and commenting this post. Its the man and not the machine that counts and his creativity to create something that was never heard of before.
I fully agree, and I even feel privileged to own the piece of equipment that Liam used to create such masterpieces. The machines are not equally important, but important nonetheless.

I'm pretty sure it is a current legal requirement that any TB-303 (including derivatives, clones and manifestation of similar in any format) should have Josh wink's "Higher State Of Consciousness" pattern programmed into memory. So at least you have the legal bases covered..

The chart has that first F down as a hold but it sounds like maybe you entered it as a normal note? Or maybe it should even be a rest, not sure. I have a feeling the tempo affects how it will sound too, you're playing it much slower than the original...
I've never touched a legit 303 myself, but as I understand it from reading about it: 1. Go into Time Mode 2. select the relevant step if necessary using the Next/Back buttons - but in this case it's the first step so you shouldn't need to 3. Press the Accent button (which is below the rest symbol in the Time Mode area), or the Transpose Up button to try a hold instead which is what the chart suggests (open circle). 4. I'm not sure whether you can press the Time Mode button again to exit that mode, or whether you then have to continue to enter the rest of the notes (by repeatedly pressing the Transpose Down button which corresponds to "note" until you've entered all the steps and the Time Mode LED goes off.
check the scans of the Future Music mag about Howlett/Prodigy from 1993. it's definitely not the same 303 as from the "Experience" era. the original machine had an extra MIDI-interface (x2 bigger than the 303 itself) & half of the knobs were missing
Liam Howlett has had several of these over the years. From what I understand, liam made sure it was in full working order before it was given away. knobs are worn exactly like the scans which had pen lids in their place

@jiltedgenerator First pattern is wrong because this pattern is wrong. I found this pattern too on the internet and I was frustated about tweaking knobs on ABL3. This pattern isn't have a characteristic sound. I make pattern from scratch and sounds excellent! Very similar to Claustrophobic Sting. Please can You make a video with proper Claustrophobic Sting pattern from me on the Liam's TB-303? I'm very very curious how it will sounds and how it sounds compared to the Audio Realism ABL3. on the second pattern there's a slide from a high-pitched to a low-pitched note, i was watching it on a sonograph, it changes pitch instantly instead of "sliding" the pitch.. that's broken
1) Depends upon whether the sequence is programmed correctly. 2) It depends upon if the slide is tweaked correctly. I have found a major difference in sequences by just changing one two random accents or slides here or there.
Yes, slide function seems to be broken but I would never get it repaired on a high value collectors item like this! Chances are it was already like this when these patterns were programmed and soundwise it really doesn't make as much of a difference as one might think. Funny enough I have a Mode Machines x0xb0x MK I with the same issue and h4x0riz3d made me aware of it there. The tied note doesn't get the full portamento effect but it does lose its attack which sounds very similar to slide. This can even be beneficial for some faster patterns because it sounds more precise rhythmically. Makes this thing even more special in a way in my opinion.
I feel like you're doing yourself an injustice by critiquing a digital upload as if it was a DAT recording. By the time your ears hear this the sounds have been compressed so many times it doesn't really matter what he used to upload the audio.

Unfortunately the patterns dont store well on these like the tb-03 , especially if no batteries are left inside.

The first step should be a rest. Also I think you are one octave too low.
