Greetings, Commanders. This is Executor NTF of the Golden Armada, reporting.
What you have seen today was a joint experiment between the filthy swarm and the glorious Firstborn under the command of a commander-in-training (who was summarily executed) to see if void rays were, indeed, op.
These tests proved inconclusive, and were dismissed out of hand as there is, of course, no way the invincible fleet could ever be defeated. Surely no one can be as... creatively destructive, either to the enemy or to themselves, as these proxy enemies were.

The protoss player built the perfect fleet to counter the zerg's completely anti-ground unit army, but then proceeded to avoid the zerg army at all cost and go for a base trade in spite of having half as many bases as the zerg.
I still remember the hero spine crawler.

The zerg making dozens of drones during a basetrade situation instead of literally ANY other units
I thought it was dumb for the zerg player to not be lokking for the pilon, but considering he waited until there were few voidrays and sent his units there then he knew, or at the very least knowing where all the voidrays were give it away.
This was honestly the funniest match I've ever watched.
I normally root for the Protoss in these vids but I was hoping for the last 10 minutes that Torben would come out on top - 100% deserved the win!

Terran unique tech: repair and healing ability, mules, risk-free scans, flying buildings, needs nothing to build buildings, entire units are ranged, has siege tanks, Microable units for more value.

Obviously you've never seen a shield battery/immortal micro or warp prisms or blink stalkers. If you don't micro it's not because the race can't, it's because you suck at playing Protoss.

I think the protoss was doing a "Dark Templar" or "Nerazhim" cosplay? challenge? thing? he ONLY built Nerazhim units (DTs, then Stalkers, then Void Rays).... NOTHING else but cannons and probes.

Diamond 3? I hope not. This was painful to watch. The zerg player knew nothing but try and build hatches and drones. Could have won 10 min earlier lol. It takes like 3 swipes from 1 ultra to kill pylon he had 2 and like 7 roaches it was gg. The protoss never recalled also didn't know how to cancel void ray charge. He made a proxy worth about 3000 money then led the zerg right to it with a dt warp in.

I mean, I love this series as always, but these two players are clearly higher than Bronze. There's a difference between being bad at the game (Gold-Plat) and being utterly incompetent/have no idea what to do (Bronze-Silver).
These players strike me as more Gold-Plat players.

anony Take note: The Zerg actually got creep spread. Both players actually expanded. Both players actually got units (protoss was worse but still). Both players actually used decent micro. The Zerg actually used his ravager abilities. The Protoss actually scouted with probes, and the Zerg actually used overlords for scouting.
These are all qualities that cannot be found in bronze league, I promise.
