In this video, Katka asked me to restore a Shelby Cobra 50cc Replica for Natalka. after disassembling the car, I found out that it is not in as bad a condition as I thought, the renovation took a long time, but the result is worth it, watch the video ;)

They must think people are stupid. As nice as it turned out, the mud plastering took away any credibility.
Brand new tires also covered in mud. Kinda makes you wonder how legit this rebuild is.

Its amazing how good everything looks where you didn't apply mud.
I was going to say "this is not restoration when you just reasemble fully operational vehicle, but just coverd in mud (on purpose)".

The swirl marks on the under side of the floor pan....I mean COME ON!!!! You're not even TRYING!! Plus those are NEW tires..... But the body work looked legit.
Everything looks brand new on it...from the wires, mechanical parts....even the mud looks new. This is not a restoration, it's just cleaning procedure. Congrats for the painter and for being able to put apart and reinstall all the parts on this fancy kart.
Fantastic, that mud was so well sprayed on and it looked so much like it had been sitting in a perfectly formed mud pit. Was that mud specially bought or a home brew?

just typical for most of the "restore" RUclips channels. Mud, or induced rust... People watch this crap, and he makes money from the views.
It's the new cancer of RUclips. Thankfully, most of the "life hack" channels have caused enough grief that they have died off... Now it's just garbage like this.
Not a rusty bolt on the entire thing, bright and shiny once the coating of mud was washed off. Wouldn't be the first restoration video to do this though.

well, it makes just more work to clean it...
it's like you put "liquid mud" in the paint sprayer, and coated the thing and put it in a backyard shed. if i was five i wouldn’t notice, but i'm older than that. a couple ounces of respect for all the work you put in.

@@Nebulax123 soak the car with soapy water, set it in an old, dusty barn and walk around it with a leaf blower. would look more natural

Clearly mud was smeared all over it to make it look bad. No rust at all so you know it was not in bad shape

@@carlosg1165 all it needed was power washing. You can see that metalwork was bright underneath.

Nice restoration. Mud painting was a little over the top though lol. Pretty hard to believe those tires were old when they still have the nibs on them. All in all though nice job!!
No restoration here. It was brand new. Not even a scratch on the bottom of the frame. That happens the first time you ride it.

I was thinking the same thing. There's very little rust on the axle and the disk brake.
The more mud - more you think the junk is really junk = more epic before\after part.
わざわざほぼ新品のシャーシに泥を塗ってそれをまた綺麗に洗っただけ。各部所きれいすぎ。
ブレーキローターもサビひとつない状態だし配線もちょっと触っただけで泥が取れて綺麗になってる。

Great job , but honestly there isn’t really a need to smear mud all over it . Would have been just as cool without the added dirt . Food for thought for next time .

We can see where clearly the mud was spread on by hand to make it look worse than it was 😂🤣 seeing the components, disc breaks, push button start, hex bolts , tyres still have rubber moulding tags ( not worn much ) etc it’s not an old vehicle. still an excellent renovation though 👍

Man, some people are rough. I thought this was a great build and another young hot rodder is born. She will grow up to love and appreciate cars.
i was thinking the opposite. given something like that at her age she will grow up spoiled and appreciate nothing. sad but probably true.
The 2cycle smoke makes it look like a rolling burnout! So cool to be able to learn to drive a gasoline engine vehicle at at such a young age! You all definitely will love cars forever.
The mud seems to be skillfully painted on with a brush before restauration....... very nice job though.
A fantastic job the car looked great a lot of hard work went in to it . But please please can we do with out the fake dust and rust.😭

Two things I would have added to the car, 1 would be the same kind of after market air hon from a motorcycle like I have on my Hoveround mobility chair. And 2 would be painting the white lettering on the tires.
I didn't watch the video, but I would watch one if you showed what things looked like before you slathered all the mud on everything. Or if you showed how you do your slathering.
Great project, but why cover it with dirt before you start, that really takes the edge off what you do, it makes the watcher believe you are trying to con them from the start.
There's a bunch of haters here, but I still enjoyed the video. Still made me want a little car just like that.

If you can afford a real Cobra, it's a slam dunk you can afford a repro mini-car for the twerp. Or, possibly you don't actually own a real Cobra. and you're all hat and no cattle.
How long did it take to paint it with mud before renovation?! No rust spot, it's all mud
So let's do the math, 70 days, even at $100/hr for a CHEAP body shop at 8 hrs a day that equals $56,000 restoration. COME ONE!!!!

Whether or not it was made to look older and dirtier than it was, props to his painting, having painted more cars than I can remember 90% is the prep work and painting is the easy part, looks great, allot of metal polishing etc. The final project made a little girl real happy and also looks great next to the full size one. Isn't that what matters. :)

I'd be surprised if that vehicle had ever seen a road before, the tyres look brand new and as you look at the 'painted on mud' being washed off the car looks more or less brand new.

This is a nice car and I’d love to know who the original manufacturer is? The problem with your videos is, that they do not deal with restoration at all, as most of your projects are brand new 😂.
Yeah they f@ck up a good condition car or itme caking up with mud then just wash it and ggod to go and put back the parts they previously put on...
Even if it was once new, but it either stood there for a long time, or was not used properly, but to restore the object to a good condition, you also need skillful hands.

Nothing come out that clean after just a light brush and power wash and I can totally tell that you smeared in the muddy water!! Perfect mud and muddy squirrel on the belly pan

You did a very nice job for the look. However, it is a shame you did not put the same efforts in the mechanical aspects. The smoke ruin the beauty of the experience not to mention the rope to slow or stop, while a remote control and a speed limiter would be a clever improvement.
Sorry guy, but beauty is only skin (or paint) deep...while ugly goes to the bone (or piston rings)
It's a two-cycle engine, they always smoke. Limiting speed on a scooter seems rather silly.
You have the on off "missile" switch wired wrong. It should shut the motor off when the cover is closed.

Yea we would appreciate your obvious fantastic workmanship by itself without the obvious attempt to make the thing look dirtier by pouring mud all over it before you begin. Several other channels keep doing the same thing. Problem is you'll see all these negative comments and then do the exact same thing in your next video
А глиной специально надо было обмазывать.При чем видно по рискам,старались.Каждый раз при просмотре видео про восстановление мучает один вопрос,нафига вещи,которые восстанавливают обмазывают грязью?Для пущей важности.В принципе нормальное видео,руки растут откуда надо,но зачем каждый раз эта хрень?Просмотров побольше набрать.
