    A little audio explaining what you did would go a long way.

    How did you guys get the old paint off the hardwood floors ?

    • @RaptorRenovation
      @RaptorRenovation  4 года назад +1

      We were not able to get all of the old paint off but what we could get off was done with scrapers, acetone and warm soapy water (then lots of scrubbing).

    No sanding? Clean. Then apply?

    • @RaptorRenovation
      @RaptorRenovation  3 года назад +3

      No sanding needed for this product! Just scrub the floor clean and then apply.

      @@RaptorRenovation Did you have to clean a few times? What did you clean the floors with? New home owner with wood floors for the first time. Freaking out. Helpzzz. LOL

      @@spirkspirk5093 Congrats on your new home! Use water with a bit of dish soap in it (the water doesn't need to be bubbly like you do for washing a car... it just needs to have a half dozen to a dozen drops in a gallon. Otherwise you will have to rinse the floor multiple times to get off all the soap). That will cut through any grease build up on the floors when you scrub them. After you scrub down with the soapy water then go back over and you can wash them back down with clean water to get rid of any soap residue. Lastly, we used just a general purpose spray cleaner (I think we used 409) and rags to do a final cleaning.
