For a strange reason, my father and my sister had that phone, the analog one with a BOGO promotion. On that time, on the 90s in my country, the cell phones were reserved to rich people only, and most of the people prefer to use the payphones in the streets. Also, on that time, call somebody to a cellphone was very expensive. After that, my father had the phone for a long time, until he changed for a Nokia one. He still have the same phone number since then
The Star-Tac was the phone I really wanted for years! it was the most awesome looking phone on the market! I love the way the fundamental design remained the same but the screen tech slowly evolved! its a device thats definitely stood the test of time design wise! love the old red screen model! that reminds me of my old calculator! its a truly classic miobile design up there with the Micro-Tac
First analog StarTAC phones. Second digital StarTAC phones. (StarTAC Plus Model was released 7760RA.) Third mobile phone is 'TIME PORT'. Case StarTAC as replacement. LCD colorful and awesome! ;)
I had the first StarTac shown back in the day and I loved that thing. These were way ahead of their time and was the best thing out at the time for their size. Considering I switched from a much larger Micro-TAC model, this was tiny compared to those things. before that I had my trusty Dyna-TAC brick phone! Still have my Dyna-TAC and Micro-TAC but not the Star-Tac :( Wouldn't switch it with my smart-phone though :)
Impresionante, me encanta el StarTAC con pantalla OLED, ahora el MotoRAZR se lo agregaron? por que en esa época no creo se haya llamado asi.... se ven nuevos esos telefonos.
hello is the last phone is custom made? o it was part of moto line? it has the same screen like the motorola timeport in the usa by sprint and verizon but with a startac body wow I like it a lot !! I wish to have one of those!
Thank interested. :) Just for display? Or by phone? Whatever you want The sales level is not worth my StarTAC. Thank you very much. ^ ^ ;) Google translator was used. So, is the short answer.
@MCDHTX Thank attention. Video at the end of the StarTAC is timeport. It simply a case of just exchanging. I live in South Korea. I think a lot of shipping probably come too ^ ^ Thanks for bringing it to say. Use Google Translate. So, It's a little awkward sentence. Wish you a pleasant day to day! ^-^)/

I still have my StarTac circa 2001...it powers up, holds a charge for days and I imagine it would still work too.
