If we're saying that He's Father, what are we? // When you are alone, are you confident to pursue Him, to be loved by Him, to look to Him? Will you let Him love you? Will you call him Father when nobody is looking with no initiation other than your own believing heart? Will you commune with Him? Will you believe Him? Will you shut off everything, close the door and sit on your bed and know and believe that you are not alone? Will you let your heart get way bigger than your head? // Because if you don't know Him your life is not working!
I wish I could experience what you wrote. I try- I ask God to let me know You as a Father many many times- I don’t know what it’s like to have a father or a fathers love- never had one. But can’t ever experience what you wrote- even tho I’m desperate for it- and have heard & seen others know this. Not sure what doing wrong or why - I tell God- how do I love family- people ect if I don’t know what it is to be loved. After I got saved- for a long time it was very hard for me to call God Father- it felt disrespectful- because when young only knew Him as God- and always believed He was always a angry God- and had to fo & be good all time. Out for years- back in church for 30 yrs- still have problems in this area. Not sure if anyone can help me- cause even tho I’ve listened to Dan & Todd & others- still can’t experience this. 😔
