They don't need to be commented, because the 6 Van Wow bells of Domtoren are EXCELLENT!!! They're absolutely the most beautiful bells of Reinassance and all the past!!!
That is so amazing!!!! The sound is just incredible!!! Man, gives me goosebumps!!
Glorious - and in the overtones one can almost hear a chorus of voices
Amazing to watch! Beautiful to hear. Thank you :)
Thank you for posting this video.
The echo sounds like singing.
Gets me emotional....similar to the bagpipes.
Nice! :)
Ok thank you for those informations!!! But I believed that the b' 'Ihesus' was casted by another caster, before I've read the domtoren luidklokken pages that you've suggest to me.
Silly question but why does the first bell take a while to start ringing even though the guy was pulling like mad ?
because the bell is probably the size of a room! it need more time to start ringing !
The smallest bell in the six bells that are in this video weighs over 3,200 pounds, he is basically giving all he's got to get the bell swinging.
All heavy bells can take a while for them to strike even on change ringing bells. Its more to do with the bell size and weight and etc.
Look it up in Wikipedia using "Dom van Utrecht", then go to "Luidklokken".
You hear in this video 6 bells, but there are 7 van wou bells, thats what i mean ;-)
De 'verstekeling' hing vroeger in de verdwenen dakruiter van de dom, de klok werd geluid voor het angelus, tegenwoordig doet het geen dienst meer als 'angelusklok'.
Oh really!! In this video seems to heard only 6 bells, what is the 7th bells?
The 7th bell is named "Jezus Maria Johannes" was cast in 1506.
Jessomann98 Dat weet je dus ÉCHT WEL. ;)
mooie opbouw van de 6 Van Wouklokken
