If I was the husband I would not confront them I would just be there when the flowers were delivered I don't care if it cost me my job that's super important and I think there's no other way you can go about that especially if she's already gaslighting him this is just going to make that blow up but if you just happens to be there while the flowers are delivered that's a diff story
They don’t actually send the flowers. They just use the email to see where the person will send them.

They don’t actually send flowers but the husband could definitely send a bouquet with the message to his wife and confront her without mentioning the radio show

It has taken way less than a previous colleague getting back in touch for some people to become a stalker. I absolutely believe that the wife might not be aware of his feelings for her. It's definitely going to require a conversation, but it doesn't need to involve accusation yet. No matter how smart, not naive, on the ball, whatever she is she still might not have been aware. I've been there before. It happens.
This is crap evidence that can easily be turned around to make her look innocent. They should have used this opportunity to try something different but I guess he has the evidence he needs to get her to cut it out....OR it will just lead her to this friend more.
