It is really nice of you guys to share your experiences. If you are really committed with each other, you have to think about the inconveniences, emotional impact and expense that the separation will do to your life. Dealing with any immigration system of any country is time consuming and most of the time frustrating. Remember that any government is only interested in legal papers to process what you are requesting. My suggestions to make your life easier are as follows:
1. You guys should have a covid19 vaccination if you are traveling. All airlines require that as a tourist or a returning residence. It is called a health pass. Without that you cannot fly.
2. Tourist visas are not guaranteed especially if a country will have a lock down. However if you are a returning resident or a wife of a Filipino citizen you have a guaranteed priority. If Vika has a civil marriage license to show that she is a legal wife of a Filipino citizen, she will be allowed to return to join her husband. Check the Philippine immigration web site.
3. Civil marriage is different from church marriage. It is a legal document and all country accept that document. Church marriage is not. You can apply for a marriage license in City Hall anytime. Get 3 copies of the marriage license. Trust me on this one because I have a lot of experience on that issue. I’ve been out of the country most of my life.
4. Once you have your civil marriage certificate, immediately go to the immigration and apply for her permanent residence status. Her going out of the country as a tourist is a different issue. Do not mix them together. She has to go out whether her permanent residency is approved or not. However, it will be easier for her to come back if all the papers are in place.
5. Personal advice, Vika don’t get pregnant. Pregnancy is a terrible job when you are out of sight of Eugene and separated. Time to pull out that ring that you are hiding Eugene. My two cents. LOL...

Pwede kayo mag-exit ng malapit lang like singapore, etc. basta ung safe na bansa. Next step, is ask or reasearch kng ano ang magiging problema ni Vika pabalik ng pinas. If sa tingin nyo mahihirapan sya makapasok, pakasal kayo agad sa huwes, then secure a valid marriage contract (red ribbon ang tawag yata din nyan). Automatic yan, pagpasok nyo ng pinas, easy entry din sya. Best is kasama ka nya para d sya mahirapan.
Same thing if you will go to Luthuania, ikaw bro d rin mahihirapan pumasok. Kc c Vika din may hawak sayo, just by showing your validated Marriage Conract.
Contact PSA and ask how to legalize your marriage contract abroad. Mention kung kailangan ba i-red ribbon. Alam nila yun. I think it’s only 3 months for that, if applicable ang red ribbon ha.
