Nice to have the story behind the commercials. Looking back, I remember always looking forward to the Perdue commercials on TV. I hope the company and family continue with the success and hopefully with one of the next generation as the head.

I wonder why Mr. Perdue has such a guilty look on his face in the thumbnail and later in the video saw lots of chickens cramped in a large contained area not free roaming which is the right and healthy way to raise chickens. I've never bought Perdue chicken products before.
I remember when Mr Purdue had difficulty getting his Chickens marketed in New York City. Mafia Boss Paul Castellano stepped in to unblock sales of Purdue’s chickens for a price. Castellano owned Dial Pultry and controlled the trucking of product . Not saying Purdue broke laws but he got in bed with NY Costa Nostra.
