It includes mispronounced words, repeated phases and sometimes whole sections. When I stumble on one of these channels I flag them to YT to not recommend these. Great Illusions and he’s been going through a LOT with his on of his Son’s serious illnesses/diseases… that is tragic. My husband and I saw Criss Angels show in Vegas last September 2023 at Planet Hollywood and it was sold out and he and his staff were fantastic and he talked at the end of the show about his son’s brutal illness and we could donate if we wanted to. We loved his show….❤👍🌟💯

Illusionists and magicians are a different skill sets. Copperfield is a good example of an illusionist. Bigger scale tricks, usually performed at a distance, often using technology, camera work, misdirection, showmanship etc. Magicians perform at a smaller scale, close contant, with sleight of hand, verbal suggestion, etc. Chris is considered an illusionist, but he trained as a magician as a kid and is pretty good at close magic card tricks. Teller from Penn and Teller is really good at close magic.

No, and there was nothing in this video where he says " I'm sorry " as it says in the clickbait picture. I did learn a lot about Criss Angel but it was nothing like what the picture in the title were attempting to say.
And the video panders a lot to "his extraordinary abilities." Most of what Chris did on his show involved editing and stooges and the stunts he did do didn't really make up for that. I remember the motorcycle "stunt" wasn't actually a stunt, it was just two clips edited together, probably not even him on the bike. And the "live" building escape when the news network explained that it was all just a pre-recording. All these things are bad for magic. Great illusionists (or stunt men) don't rely on editing, body doubles and stooges.
Thats absolutely true and not only that but these "impromptu" street magic moments are highly staged. Many of them were filmed at the Universal studio's backlot on sets. Criss Angel and David Blaine use faked camera shots and "stooges" (magician slang for pretend audience members who are actually assistants.) Those things are not secret among working magicians. Honestly, there shouldn’t be too much hate on him, seriously he’s just one of a kind and the most nicest caring person ever to do what he loves doing, I mean he gave me a hug when I was sitting on the 3rd row and not very many famous do that in crowds, his illusions are truly amazing and well done, believe what you hear on the internet about camera tricks, but once you truly actually see it in your very own eyes, you’ve really enjoy the experience and get mind freaked, it hurts to have people say oh how shows weren’t good and they’d rather see Carrot Top instead of him, 👀 I’m sorry what. The guy had top notch health insurance I'm sure and whatever he had to pay out of pocket I'm sure he could easily afford and then some. Statements like that are a slap in the face of parents who REALLY had to struggle and find any way they could to pay and probably went into massive debt when unable to pay.

Self employment usually means people don’t have health insurance they have to pay out of pocket and he has not been doing much in the last 10 years. I have cancer and I know treatment is insanely expensive I literally had to become unemployed to get state insurance just to have my kidney removed because it was cheaper than chemo or radiation.

Chris Angel was a showman and I’m not into magic or illusions but Chris had talent when it came to keeping an audience entertained. It doesn’t matter how he did what he did bc all magic is just an illusion meant to trick your mind, outside of the crew on the starship enterprise no one has the power to beam up down or anywhere. I personally liked Chris’s showmanship and his personality and as far as camera tricks he was amazing and they all do it.

Criss Angel is a legend. Wasn't really a fan, until a friend randomly invited me to his show in Vegas, during a guys trip. What I saw at that show astounded me. Usually I can figure out how "magic" tricks work, but I was left flabbergasted several times. One time I was even called as an audience volunteer; normally I assume those "random" audience members are plants. Very skilled practitioner of prestidigitation.
We were at a wedding in Las Vegas in 2010 and Chris Angel was preparing to walk up the side of The Luxor Casino/Hotel to the top of the pyramid for his Mindfreak Live magic show.
My brother knew him in Las Vegas at his peak. The illusions he did were so dangerous one of the big hotels shut it down. He and I believe the only way some of what he did was possible is he sold his soul or has an identical twin. Seeing this, convinced the former!

Criss is a great person. I met him while in Las Vegas and that man was so nice, and completely down to earth. He did a card trick for me, and no cameras were present! So don’t listen to some of the naysayers.

Illusionists and magicians are a different skill sets. Copperfield is a good example of an illusionist. Bigger scale tricks, usually performed at a distance, often using technology, camera work, misdirection, showmanship etc. Magicians perform at a smaller scale, close contant, with sleight of hand, verbal suggestion, etc. Chris is considered an illusionist, but he trained as a magician as a kid and is pretty good at close magic card tricks. Teller from Penn and Teller is really good at close magic.

And the video panders a lot to "his extraordinary abilities." Most of what Chris did on his show involved editing and stooges and the stunts he did do didn't really make up for that. I remember the motorcycle "stunt" wasn't actually a stunt, it was just two clips edited together, probably not even him on the bike. And the "live" building escape when the news network explained that it was all just a pre-recording. All these things are bad for magic. Great illusionists (or stunt men) don't rely on editing, body doubles and stooges.

Not trying to be cold hearted or anything but saying the guy had trouble with paying for his kids leukemia treatments is preposterous. The guy had top notch health insurance I'm sure and whatever he had to pay out of pocket I'm sure he could easily afford and then some. Statements like that are a slap in the face of parents who REALLY had to struggle and find any way they could to pay and probably went into massive debt when unable to pay.

Chris Angel was a showman and I’m not into magic or illusions but Chris had talent when it came to keeping an audience entertained. It doesn’t matter how he did what he did bc all magic is just an illusion meant to trick your mind, outside of the crew on the starship enterprise no one has the power to beam up down or anywhere. I personally liked Chris’s showmanship and his personality and as far as camera tricks he was amazing and they all do it.
Saw his performance in Las Vegas in 2010. He is unbelievably talented and still performed with an intense head cold, for which he apologized! Prayers for his family.

I completely do not understand that if there is a healing the body process by way of MED BEDS why isn't anyone using them right now. Criss Angel is a legend. Wasn't really a fan, until a friend randomly invited me to his show in Vegas, during a guys trip. What I saw at that show astounded me. Usually I can figure out how "magic" tricks work, but I was left flabbergasted several times. One time I was even called as an audience volunteer; normally I assume those "random" audience members are plants. Very skilled practitioner of prestidigitation.

We were at a wedding in Las Vegas in 2010 and Chris Angel was preparing to walk up the side of The Luxor Casino/Hotel to the top of the pyramid for his Mindfreak Live magic show.

I really hope Chris's son is doing better. My son had spinal meningitis when he was three months old. I truly know what it means for parents to experience the pain and grief watching their child suffering.

Correction in the band, Angel dust actually belongs to Klayton before they separated, Angel dust the band came from combining klaytons first band Circle of Dust with criss’s last name, if you heard of klayton before it’s probably due to dead rising since Celldweller is one of klaytons side projects along with scandroid, yup all the same guy and his bands so he could change genres without selling out, Circle of dust is industrial metal, celldweller is more rock with a good amount of electronic elements and scandroid is an 80’s retro style sound, you can see klay in the mind freak video with the red hair:)

Those that are saying that Chris was locked up and kept away are forgetting, it seems, that He is unbelievably successful and has done really well for himself. I was a huge fan in 2005. Mindfreak was one of my favorite shows. Dude really is humble.
