My nonstop grind for 2 days since may 11,2022 has me 4 stars in my first village. My fiddings: 1. You need to Give them(adventurer/towns people) a present to strenghten their combat powers/prowes. 2. You need to Hold events, different events as your town grows to achieve and unlock new things and for contest also. 3. Finishing the Boss/ Monster Boss to get more popularity for your town. 4. Add more Inn in the First start of the game to attract more Adventurer/towns people. 5. Having atleast 2 stores and Food stores of every kind to get more Income which is needed to upgrade your town. 6. As you give them presents, you gain their satisfactions which leads to them to stay in your town/village. 7. After their permanent house is build, they will give items like weapon/armor/accessory that goes to your list as a new category of your village equipments. 8. As New class job comes to your village, you need to master their job level to 10 to get their Job like summoner,mage,archmage,monk,ninja,warrior,knight,hero and maybe since I still not finish the game probably the list goes on.... 9. You will notice that your Adventurers change their equipment. It is because of the settings which make them wear the strongest equipment the adventurers have seen after buying in the armor shop, accessory shop, weapon shop and so on...
I hate to change every hero equipment individually on DV1. If you get a new good equipament, you have to change it x25. Does this happen on DV2 as well?

You have to keep completing the Town Contests to level them up to S
The amount of popups in game is ungodly. Might be a dealbreaker for some people.
There are a lot of popups, that is probably my only complaint for this game.
