    We have that itinerary August of 2024 and I'm already dreading the heat. We went on a Western Caribbean Cruise August of this year and the heat made us miserable. 🔥🥵

      That's a shame, make sure you either have a sun hat or umbrella to give you some shade and drink plenty of water. Hope you enjoy your trip.

    Just Travel Expert: Thank you so much for yet another GREAT video. You explain the directions so clearly. I just have one question. I assume you have to go back to the same spot where the bus dropped you off in Marseille to catch the bus back to the ship correct?

      Hi, thank you for your feedback, happy to hear you are finding the videos helpful. Yes, you go back to the exact point where the bus drops you off. Pin the location on your phone so you know where to go.
      Marseille is beautiful you will enjoy it.

      Thank you. We travelled in the month of August and to be honest it was quite hot, around 35c degrees but we got used to it after a few days.

    Hello, Marseille will be our departure for the 1 week cruise, can we use the same entrance to take the free shuttle to the cruise port?

    • @PlacesToVisit-JustTravelExpert
      @PlacesToVisit-JustTravelExpert  2 месяца назад

      Hi, I don't think that will be possible as this entrance is only used for day travellers.
      You need to get to the port via the main entrance to check in.
      I would recommend using a taxi to get you there.
      Hope this helps.

    Is it walkable from cruise port to downtown? You mentioned 15 minute walk to the first church you showed. Thanks

      Hi, yes when you come off the ship follow the green line outside the port terminal. Follow the green line all the way where you can catch the free shuttle bus into town. From that point it's a 15min walk.
      Hope this helps.

    Hi how far is Palais Long Champ from where you get off the bus? I'll be going in April 😊

      Hi, Longchamp is about a 35 to 40 min walk. I would take it in your stride and enjoy the walk. You will see many cafes / shops along the way so you can always take a break if you need to.

    Would you suggest Uber or a Taxi? I'd rather not take the tram
