I have a 1949 00-21. Really cool and has that very specific Brazilian Rosewood sound. Nothing else I own sounds close.

I was given a 1943 00021 in 1966, My father bought it new at Sanborns house of Music in St. Pete Fl while on leave. I still have it. it is my daily player.

you won't see that anymore , a guitar built almost entirely of Brazilian rosewood , just gorgeous , and sounds terrific , nice playing Mark , such a beautiful song "sounds of silence" , and you're right , never heard of a 000 21 before , Martins are "the" acoustic guitar I think.
Melissa is one of my go-to acoustic testing tunes. Sounds as lovely on this Martin as the day Gregg put it to tape.

Exceptional and great sounding guitar. Pretty darn rare. Not quite as loud as I would expect from a OOO but a great wide open sound.

When I saw him in 69 he had Guilds 6 and.12 string. By now he's played plenty of guitars.
His one signature guitar is a Martin OM
Paul recorded Sounds of Silence on a Guild. In the 60s, Paul always played Guild's. After the 60s, he played everything.
He has a signature OM-42. I used to dream of that guitar! 😂
