Hello! Great tips! I am a polymer clay artist and wanted to share that spray sealants shouldn’t be used on polymer clay. They will remain sticky and there is not a way to really fix it, other than using acetone to remove it. There are very few sealers that don’t react, mr super clear is one. I’ve ruined projects before. I’m sorry your erumpant bread had that issue, but I think it may still go sticky on you after a while even with the matte spray 😞
That's super good to know!! I don't work with clay, so I bought this from a seller. If I place acetone on it, won't that take off the paint too? I think I'll just deal with the sticky. hahaha How do you recommend finishing clay projects?
@@createcraftcostume yes, it will likely destroy the finish. Brush on products work great, I particularly like ultra matte decor art, which you can get from Michaels. Aerosols react with the clay, and it eats away the finish.
