Hello I am so glad your back to reacting to Lucy singing "Bridge Over Troubled Water " this is such a wonderful cover by Lucy she sings it so beautifully, it is one of the tracks from her new Album which is called Beyond, the best album so far. Keep well Barbara.
your right of course @@anthonyl.6879 It could be a bit awkward if it was everything she touched!! but the old parody of Midas was all he touched, i didnt really think that through did i !!! Regards Ian.
@@anthonyl.6879your right of course, it would be a bit inconvenient if it was every thing she touched !!! i went off the original story of Midas who of course turned every thing he touched into gold, i concede that i didnt really think that comment through!!! Regards Ian.
Your reaction to this piece is the most animated and positive I've seen. I heartily agree. She's an all-in-package between her voice, and her body language she doesn't just sing, she performs. She appears to really throw herself in to what she's singing. A fellow reactor said: "When Lucy sings you know it's Lucy" and he also said "No-one does a vibrato like Lucy". I completely agree with both thoughts. I'm a huge fan.
I might be the first to comment and you are right - it has been a while!. In spite of this and as a fellow Brit, I have subscribed in the hope and expectation of your reacting to more Lucy, Lucy/Martha videos. There have been two more since BOTW - 'Mary Did You Know', a duet with sister Martha and 'A Whiter Shade Of Pale', a solo covering Procol Harum's 1967 hit. Both videos are brilliant and Lucy and Martha have made their own. As with all of their videos, they get better with repeated playing. 😄
As usual Lucy does her own thing and of course does a brilliant rendition of this classic song. I have to commend you on the way you display the video. - full screen for the artist with the reactor in the corner. That's how it should be down with full attention on the performer. So thanks for that. Now go and watch/listen to " A whiter Shade of Pale " another outstanding interpretation of another world wide 60's classic.
Great reaction. Just when you think Lucy can't get any better, she proves us wrong. Beautiful, heavenly, powerful, angelic! I know Christmas has passed, but you must react to Lucy and Martha's version of "MARY DID YOU KNOW" Best regards, Hopelessly Addicted
Thank you for taking the time to react to Lucy. Clearly, this is a most exceptional young talent, possibly the best out there at the moment and rates very high against anyone you care to name. I know that's saying a lot but when you survey her complete repertoire across every genre, with the exception of death metal, punk etc!, you will come to the inevitable conclusion that I am right so I ask you to keep on checking out, and reacting to Lucy.
Glad to see you back it´s been a long time. Lucy as usual makes every song she sings her own Lucy has a live concert in Manchester in March. And is starring in a new musical "Rosie" due to open in London In autumn this year. This song is from her latest Album "Beyond" which was released before Christmas .This is a great cover by Lucy but I think you Should React to "A Whiter Shade Of Pale" which she sings in her lower voice it is unbelievable and I think her best song on the Album. here is a link to it. ruclips.net/video/02a0l2UhsXQ/видео.htmlsi=3T-NR-nUS6FYOIKo Thanks for your support of Lucy .
Long time no see... You have to review "A Whiter Shade of Pale". Her lower register is spectacular. Her last album release in December has a few new songs that are beautiful, when she releases videos.
Nice to see you back on Lucy, Lucy’s done a few since then. You might also enjoy ‘Whiter Shade Of Pale’. I think once the musical ‘Rosie’ gets going Lucy's song ‘Broken Dreams’ will be a big hit for her. Lucy has the live concert on Tuesday 5 March 2024, at the The Stoller Hall in Manchester. Just 10 tickets left, and a special memorably event. You should get yourself down.
I really appreciate you reacting to Lucy. I remember you saying in a previous reaction you would like to see Lucy live, well Lucy, with much of her education behind her, is now performing live not just in the UK but Lucy also has at least one international concert booked, in Japan. Lucy is from Wigan so it is good that you as a British reactor are taking an interest cannot understand the absence of other UK reactors. Lucy is the best vocalist in the world today in my opinion. Lucy will star in "Rosie" a musical by Chris broom due to open later this year in London.
I Love Lucy Thomas and a whole bunch of other music. I'm a musician of several decades but man, this is one of my pet peeves with a lot of reaction channels is turn the playback volume up relative to your mic or keep it the same and turn your microphone volume down. And it's especially important when you talk over it. Which I don't mind at all man that's the whole point of a reaction But if that's your style, if I turn the music up to where it sounds great and it's loud your voice is deafening. Please balance your microphone level with your media playback content. Because other than that you're a great reactor man, at least at first glance.
Featuring on someone’s channel, what a great idea, why not yours, something like Lucy Thomas Tuesday’s or Thursday’s another reactor I follow has Angelina Mondays I never miss, you don’t have to come up with all the good ideas yourself just copy from other successful channels.
Since when have you been an expert on Lucy's voice. Her voice is pitch perfect .Which has been confirmed by many vocal coaches. If you don't like her don't listen to her. All you do is make yourself look stupid.I am sure the producer of the musical she is starring in would love your expert opinion.
@@colinhea Pitch perfect doesn’t mean you hit every note exactly on the pitch line while you’re singing a song. No human being can do that. Audio engineers are taking great singers like Lucy and making their recordings “perfect”, that’s why a lot of people say they sound even better live when they aren’t using autotune. Pitch correction removes the humanity from the vocal in the studio version and you can see it on a pitch correction monitor.
@@kerrythomas6220 Lucy was recently asked whether she uses these studio enhancements in her recordings. She said that she does not. Whom do we believe: her or you?
You were early on the Lucy bandwagon, so it’s good to see you back again. Everything she sings is stirring.
Lucy is simply the best vocalist around and everything she records is a masterpiece. Thanks you for your support of Lucy. Great review.

I am a huge Lucy fan, but I thought she oversang this song.
any pitch control on this?
It’s unreal because it’s pitch corrected!
