As a small tree removal and excavation business ( yard drainage, small flat work, driveways and the like) I never thought about how useful a small scraper could be. I picked up a 1.5 yard Ford Overland originally built for N series tractors because it was a cool old piece of equipment. Countless times I have used it behind the L3901 Kubota to move small yardage and grade driveways. Had a few guys laugh at me until they saw how handy it is on small jobs. Even at 1.5 yards it can move a surprising amount of dirt in a day.

Exactly, scrapers are more productive and cost effective than an excavator and adt combo so it just makes sense the smaller tractor scrapers would be an efficient cost efficient way to move earth.

For those that don't know, the scraper is the most efficient earthmover. The twin engine models can load themselves, grade the area, haul anywhere, spread dump, etc. It only takes a few seconds to load and go. I have run the D8 to D10 as pushcat for them many times.

Twin engine scraper can't be beat. As long as you have a OPERATOR, and not a lever puller.

All systems have their pros and cons. This video tends to seem like a "biased salesman's pitch".
