This is the way forward for shark videos, showing how harmless they can be and interactive with humans in a safe way. Great video
A mix of both, and on a pole, plus boat bow mount. Glad you like it, and yes lights/filters make a world of difference.
No filters or additional lighting were used. It was the raw housing, but we'll take all the other feedback over your 'positive' contributions :)!

No we didn't have the filters for color correction at the time as it was a prototype housing, so just raw footage.

Very cool, looks like a beautiful Summers day in Tokyo.
Around 40-60ft, or 12-18 meters, we used the underwater casing which is rated to a max depth of 190ft/65 meters.

Great shots Drew! I was there this past summer getting my AOW and had a BLAST! I put together a video of my entire trip, but a large portion of it is from my dives at UDC. I have been recommending it to everyone I know. I'd come back in a heart beat!

This was filmed through the Utila Dive Centre, on Utila one of the Caribbean Bay Islands of Honduras. Glad you loved it!

The head strap is good but as you say bubbles can get in the way, we also use a pole extension but then it image becomes a little shaky if not steadied properly.

Hi Matt, Most depths were shallow 20-40ft as we weren't using filters, but red is better for shallow depths. We just moved very slow and had the camera on a pole extension.
1:20 was the best part, coolest shot.
cant wait to use mine under water. Summer is fast approaching.

Just the RUclips feature, it is tricky with a hand/pole mount to keep the camera stable whilst shooting. We did put some mounts on the boat for stable shots.

Pole mount, head mount, and boat mounts, but you're right the pole is shaky, we also mounted on a paddle board and a video cam.

The cave dive ( i forget the name of the site) was incredible when I went we saw 2 spotted eagle Rays! One of my favorite dives. Did u dive the pinnacle? That was the best in Utila for shure. Awesome video btw.

We used a monopod mount hand held, a head mount, and boat mounts.
No filter on this video, but we recommend them, they make a better difference.

We used mounts on the boat, and otherwise pole mounts, but it is tricky! You can stabilize slightly with some editing software also.
Amazing (and jealous). I have the GoPro and use it for diving as well. What mounting did you use? I generally use the head mount but find it not as accurate as I want it to be.

Hi, was it head mounted or on a tray? Great footage sans lighting and filter. I use Hero 2 with the Gopro underwater casing in Tanzania/Znz, but the footage is often blue/yellow. I use without light, understand using lights make a lot of difference?

So many questions! How deep were you when you got some of those great colors on the fish in the first half of video? How were you zooming in so quickly without the fish fleeing? I need to work on my transitions and probably what I pick from each dive but I love them anyways.
where did you mount your go pro when you actually were diving, because i use like a pole but it gets wobbly. The way that you used the gopro was nice
