That would take away the uniqness of it you see each mario game has a gimmick mario sunshine with the fludd mario 64 with cap powerups galaxy with low grav and star bit catcher and mario odyssey has the capture so while it is cool it is very unlikely the capture mechanic will make it into any other mario game except for odyssey (and possible odyssey 2)
