      There is really too much evidence against the 3 men. Read the case files and trial docs. Johnny Depp is either way too nice, or a poor judge of character, or who knows what else. As much as I’d like these 3 men to be innocent, I don’t think they are. It’s also funny no one supporting the WM3 talk about the three young victims.

    I also think that Damien is good at playing on other people's emotions, that's why he was able to sway so many celebrities on his side. But they also did a bad job at looking more critically into this. Echols wasn't accused of something small, he's a triple child killer so I don't get why they were so reckless about this case and defending him. I don't think he deserved death penalty but he doesn't deserve to walk around claiming he's innocent either

    • @lindseysanders3656
      @lindseysanders3656 4 месяца назад

      I agree,but I also tend to think some of these celebrities have major problems themselves. We will never know for sure why some of them got involved in the case, whether they meant well or not. They should’ve known to leave it well alone. I don’t think they’ve done in-depth research like some of us have.

    • @greenneonsky
      @greenneonsky 4 месяца назад +1

      @@lindseysanders3656Agree. A lot of this will probably forever remain a mystery. What I often see is mentioned is that they saw Paradise Lost and it had a huge impact on them and after this they decided to defend them. It's kinda like a case with Making a Murderer I guess. A lot of people were outraged but the documentary itself was manipulative.

    • @lindseysanders3656
      @lindseysanders3656 2 месяца назад

      I also wanted to add that some in the group got matching tattoos, so I think there may be a lot more to this story and not just with the case itself. I guess one tattoo trip, if you haven’t heard, was on Crowley’s birthday.

    • @greenneonsky
      @greenneonsky 2 месяца назад +1

      @@lindseysanders3656Yes, it's interesting. I have heard about the tattoos before, although I forgot that it was on Crowley's birthday. Maybe they're all interested in Crowley but at the same time don't see any red flags with the case? Idk... The biggest red flag among their supporters for me was Marilyn Manson. I used to listen to his music a lot and was looking up the references he made and I just find it pretty hard to believe that he: 1. Didn't question the more popular narrative on the case about WM3 just being persecuted for Metallica t-shirts. 2. Wasn't interested enough to look into the case more to understand why they were actually convicted. And he knows a lot about Thelema and Satanism. And it's just IMHO, but the more I looked into WM3, Echols and Manson come across as eerily similiar. But maybe it's just different perspectives. And he is also Johnny Depp's friend. That's the part of the case that seems so weird to me. There is probably a lot that will either remain unknown or maybe it will be explained more years later.

      @@greenneonsky He could have, but I’m not completely sure about him either. He seems to have a lot of mental health issues. That doesn’t make a person inherently bad, but he’s displayed some questionable behaviors documented throughout his life and in the past decade as well. He emerged like a hero after his trial, and I don’t think he’s completely innocent, despite how terrible his ex partner was. That’s a whole other discussion though. I will say he does seem to have a poor judge of character at the very least.

      Though he made the mistake of living in CA.
      That said, a *major* problem in many court cases is how the judge instructs the jury. Which looks like it may have been a problem here.
