- So with the release of the new LEGO Star Wars 2024 Clone Trooper Battle Pack of course we got some LEGO Star Wars 2024 Clone Troopers, but we also got some new LEGO Star Wars 2024 Super Battle Droids... Which they have one very important feature that I feel no one is talking about which could be huge for the future of LEGO Star Wars. LEGO Star Wars 2025 Sets could get some much needed new LEGO Star Wars 2025 minifigures if my theory comes true and LEGO takes advantage of it! Let's talk about it!

I can see the possibility of seeing a Tactical droid and even a Super Tactical Droid in a big sepratist vehicle like Invisible hand, but that may be asking too much, maybe the K-series droid in Jedi survivor and fallen order sets in the future

One thing I never hear people talk about is a super tactical droid. We’ve never had a super tactical droid and I think it would be awesome to get one in a CIS themed set!
That would be the coolest thing ever! So long as they don't put it in an army builder set
I’m a newer collector but have casually enjoyed Lego my whole life, I love the droids but need more unique droids in my army, I wish the community would bring more attention to the droids because I find myself spending way to much on the them, I appreciate you for making this video and hopefully making some people aware of the lack of droids.

6:01 For the last time, they aren't Kashyyyk battle droids, they are AAT driver battle droids. The Kashyyyk battle droids have a very different design with an angular green camouflage pattern. Lego only called them Kashyyyk battle droids originally because they made a mistake, which they corrected with the 2020 AAT.

More droid variations in multiple styles would go great with all the modern clone troopers we have been getting and hopefully means more separatist sets in the future and 75372 is a great start to that.
I really hope more separatist sets are on the way. I would love to see a return of the TX-20 Tactical droid and to have a set to easily mass a b1 droid army. Also getting multiple tactical droids in different colors. This new clone and droid battle pack is definitely a step in the right direction. But there is tons of separatist sets and minifigs that need to be made to battle all these clone sets we got in the past 4 years.

Yes, this new leg mold is a very good thing, hopefully Lego stars doing again the BX, magna guard and tactical droid.
Lego also needs to do more separatist sets, we haven't got any mtt, vulture droids, hyena bomber, etc, for a while, and the last AAT was too small.
They could do a TCW AAT based on that first episode. Do 1 Regular droid, 1 Pilot (Green, more accurate to the scene), yoda with hair, and a pair of the red P1 troopers

As a veteran Lego collector but fairly new Star Wars collector, the only droids I have are normal b1 and kashyyk droids, new super battle droids, and the old super battle droids from eBay lots of
6:05 They weren't kashyyyk droids, they were tanker droids. They only showed up as part of a tank crew. Lego misnamed them so that they could include them in kashyyyk sets.
had tons of lego star wars from 2012-2014. grew up and gave them to my cousin. got back into lego in college 2020 and have amassed a huge collection thanks to having money and whatnot. tried to get the old rexs and clones back from my cousin and even though he doesn’t care for legos he doesn’t want me to have them…

Completely agree I started collecting in about 2020. I have about 120 clones and about 35 battle droids all of them are regular B1 battle droids, except for three of the brand new B2’s and I think I have one pilot droid it’s insane to think about what you guys had back then that we get almost nothing of now like I’m a huge ark trooper, fan, and they cost so much so I don’t even have a single one in my collection

Man, this is an interesting topic. Hopefully 2025 for ROTS uses the mold. Magma guards for like a Palpatine Rescue set maybe? Obi-Wan vs. Grievous on Utapau?
My “droid army” is more like a droid squad that’s been half scrapped by a Jedi and I have a grievous who missing 2/4 arms due to the clips snapping
It occurs to me that they could do a Jedi Survivor type set with Purge Troopers, scout trooper maybe patrol trooper? K2 droid would be valid and they could even find an excuse to print Bedlam Raider colors on B1 or the new B2's. I know it's a fantasy but it would be an excuse to put those mold back into production
Tyler, I will NEVER get tired of clone troopers coming out until the end of time. However I find my droid army severely lacking and yeah it gets a little boring not having many droids. Currently I have about 70 droids to 145 clone troopers and unfortunately I grew up in the Golden Age of droids and clones and got almost none of them. I really hope this new leg mold leads to old droids being remade so my droid army can catch up to my clones
This video really touches the bottom of my heart. The B1 battle droid is what got me into star wars and lego, and I started collecting lego battle droids since I was like 7 or 8 yo. (which is like 20 years ago) So the droid army really meant a hell lot to me. It's funny that I found some brand new TCW lego sets in my dad's house along with some old CIS figures; and I immediately thought of how hard it will be for a new CIS collector. Lego really needs to make a lot more for the droid army, so I really appreciate this video.

And the clone army has so many more different variants of clones, but it just feels like it’s gonna be impossible for them to cover every single one but for the droids side of things, there’s maybe 10 different variance of droids, so it definitely won’t be harder for them to cover the droid side of things and the point of the battle droids was to overwhelm and I have like 1/4 as many droid does I do clones so that really sucks
Yeah, we definitely need more CIS and I'm ABSOLUTELY in favor of this. We got many Clone-themed sets since 2020 (despite the quality downhill) and now it's necessary to bring more sets on the counterpart side of the Republic Era, nevertheless... LEGO isn't helping with it. This year is TPM anniversary and as you mentioned, do they care more about the 25th or the 20th type of anniversaries? Because if 25th was the more important one, we should have got (as talking about leaks rn) at least a new tan AAT like the polybag and of course it would have been nice for a new MTT, maybe blue coloured. A Kashyyyk set with Snail tanks and such feels dreamy for now. Anyway, it's not even about the lack of certain pieces for new people into the hobby after 2020, it's about the damn gaps they keep to continue from original releases and missed opportunities to remake them once again. As mentioned Clones before, they got a 5 year gap before 2020. As a result, I'm one of those patiently waiting and hunting collectors on Ebay and other sites for at least 1 copy of older sets because some of them are very cool to own but I do strongly agree that we should get plenty of CIS remake sets from the past, especially for a new era of Droid "minifigures"

Definitely need more Magna Guards at some point, K2SO droids would be cool but I would love a super tactical droid more than anything.
Oh my god i kinda talked about the super battle droid legs being on other droids in my review of the new battle pack a few weeks ago, so its so great to see a great youtuber also talking about this idea
With new B2 Super moulds, they have to be included in Episode 3 anniversary sets next year. Less convinced about Clone Wars droids like Commandos or Tactical unless they appear in new Disney content. Completely agree about the lack of B1 pilots and commanders etc. Loads of other separatist stuff missing on shelves for years, old style droidekas, MTTs, Vulture droids etc. It's a tough time for our Seppy bois
I only started collecting at the beginning of 2023, but have always been a big separatist fan. I've been gathering as much as I can for my army, but I wish there were more options. Have a decent amount of B1s, 3 of the most recent AATs, a few of the spider droids from the AT TE, and 2 old halfire droids from bricklink (with 2 commander droids). Would love to see a tactical Droid back on the shelves sometime soon.
Would be cool to see a switch up where they make more separatist sets with different droids and maybe one or two clones instead of it always being the other way around. Something like a remake of the homing spider droid from 2008 but with a tactical droid, 2 commando droids, a 187th clone and commander bly

I have 68 Battle Droids, 22 Super Battle Droids, 6 Commando droids, 8 rocket droids with 2 commanders, 2 security droids, 3 piolets, 1 magnaguard. I can't afford a Tactical droid, it's absurd, and I can't afford the $40 for another magnaguard.

I agree entirely! As much as I love clones I still need some droid things, and I never bought the previous separatist aat so the only thing for the droid side is a tiny tri droid and STAP vs an AT-TE. LEGO can't be forgetting about the droids, we need someone to fight off all the clones we've been getting since 2020. Also other droid possibilities with the new leg mold would be crazy and I didn't even know Magna Guards were so expensive.

Small suggestion: You should look into anti-reflective lens for your glasses.
I just want seperated legs for the droids and I don't think it would be too hard for LEGO to redesign a new mold for the B1 and B2 lower torso.

Considering magna guards first appeared in Revenge of the Sith I feel like Lego has to make them at some point and 2025 would be a good a time as ever to do it after years, and the same goes for commando droids and the droid army in general, Lego has been making so many clone sets maybe in 2025 they'll do the opposite, maybe they'll make tons of droid sets and next to no clone sets, witch would honestly be nice.
If Lego makes a tactical droid I hope they make the commander ones that usually command droid capital ships compared to the regular one we got already but I wouldn’t complain if we got that again

I have lego from when i was a kid but only recently started collecting. Most of my battle droids are from ages ago. I have one b2, and like 20 b1 battle droids. Most of my stuff is clone based, and atm my droids are way outnumbered. Would be really nice to get some more variation for my droids

yea, this is a game changer. Lego talked about it not happy with the breakage on the old ones. It probably took them 1-2 years to test the new one while army builders and collectors complained. So I do think if this is successful it can lead to additional droids/molds etc. I'd love to get more Commando droids for sure.
Dope video, I have actually been beefing up my droid army starting with vehicles. Bought sealed hailfire droid (with the last super battle droid), and a sealed tank droid (jet pack clones). Those will go along with my AAT from 2020. Then I plan on getting either a droid gunship or homing spider droid.
I'm confident Lego will release more droids in 2025 since it's ep3 anniversary. 100% sure they'll release a new grievous as well.

this kinda ties into the more droids talk but where have spaceships gone? love that we got clone tanks this and that but honestly where are the space vehicles? z-96 headhunters, y wings and lets be real the droid side has a bomber interceptor and fighter (vulture droids). kinda crazy that we can have 3 tie varients of those ships on shelves but not even 1 from let alone the prequels.

I think lego could recolour the b1 droid body on pick a brick cause it isnt a licenced piece and that saves them having to make a set for each kind of droid while still allowing fans to have them.

I've got quite a few of the old super battle droids from say around 2008/2010. Haven't had one break on me. I was surprised when I heard about it for the first time a couple of years back. I guess I'm just lucky.
Same with figures cracking. I’ve never had an old figure be cracked until I started buying used figs and sets
I actually kinda miss super tactical droids and these flying super battle droids from season 6 and 7 of TCW :/ With those 2 we would kinda have all droids from TCW

I didn’t start collecting LEGO Star Wars until 2022, but I have quite a few droid vehicles because I’ve been smart with buying sets. I’ve bought a Corporate Alliance Tank Droid, Droid Tri-Fighter, and Droid Gunship from Atlanta Brick Co for $20, $20, and $30 respectively. I’ve also bought some extra specific parts to combine with my own parts to build a Hailfire and Homing Spider Droid. I also have an AATand bought 2 extra AATs to build an MTT. I only have like 16 B1s though.
I am really hoping they remake the sepertist shuttle. They could make a ryloth set and do Watt Tambor, Tactical Droid, Commander b1, and a few b1s or b2s
I am lucky enough to have been collecting for many many years, but I am dying to see more colors of the Tactical droid, I have the blue one from Maces starfighter, but seeing more would be awesome
I love collecting things, and Im kinda thinking about starting to collect star wars minifigures, but not like get a lot of the same, more like one of every single one ever made, think that could look pretty cool. Expensive and a lot too buy though

We also never got many of the separatist leaders like the banking clan dude or watt tambor or some more neimodians

I like to think im not a new collector since i had all the og droid and clone sets from the early 2000s. But since my narc of a dad gave it all away i have been starting over. My first recent star wars set was the 501st battle pack. Therefore im severely lacking on droids.
I really would like to see them bring back the MTT from episode 1. Even throw in a couple Stapps and a droud carrier and a couple droidekas make it like $179.99 and updated and id be happy.
I also really miss the OG hailfire droid set. It also deserves a remake.

I mean, i have nothing against there existing rare and expensive minifigs. A lot of people won't need chrome Vader for average MOC.
But tactical droids, Magna Guards, or named and very popular in media characters like Rex or Cody shouldn't be expensive. Or at least should have some sort of affordable option.
Like, one cheaper droid set with few b1 and b2s and one build, and one slightly pricey set with perhaps commando droids and tactical droid would be enough for a year really.
Especially since in lore one regular clone is worth about 10 b1s. You would need on average at least 11 b1 droids to make sure you'll defeat a clone. Those poor clankers in 501st never stood a chance.
Also, I'm pretty new collector. I have like, three security droids, just because I've found them cheap. I'm also looking for as many droid pilots as possible to put on staps and in tanks, as well as possibly in other vehicles we might get one day, hopefully. But other than that i have not much, since some things are pretty ridiculous in price. And as much as I love manga guards, i really doubt I'll ever get them in my collection at this point
And I'm here just because I love CIS aesthetic.

I am a new colector and I don't even have a sepritist leader or a droid commander and a very small clone army and even though I have commander Cody and attempt
Well im a new collector and to be honest when i do stop motions and lego mocks is pretty empty in the droid side because all i have is 9 B1 battle droids one comander droid 2 kashiiik droids a AAT and a tri droid and 3 B2 battle droids what i think is that lego should make more droids sets because in this year we only have the clone and droid battle pack and later in the year we are gonna get a fives 2 clones in that set of the mandalorian season 3 and......well more clones . The only thing that can save us from this is a MTT.
Making things too common and too readily available is what ruins collectibles for me. I stopped collecting Pokémon cards when they started printing so much of the same set. Nothing was special or rare anymore
I wish I bought the figs I wanted to before covid just to resell I'd I would have known how many ppl would have started buying Lego it would have been way way worth it but I was way to broke during covid

I think they might have made a bunch of different ones with different mixes and watch and what ever was the best version is what they went for you got to see it’s the cost of shipping that they hate I bet it’s only the one press that can make them and they have to ship all over the world to the different hubs once they make them to for one make more sets and latter on to sell and to flood the market for a few years
