2.5 Dimensional Seduction is kind of similar to Dress-Up Darling since they're both about cosplay, except Dress-Up primarily focuses on the act of making the costumes while 2.5D focuses on the otaku aspects of cosplay culture.
Man as someone who recently read most of the manga i gotta say, if he loves the anime this much then hes gonna have an amazing time with the rest once adapted cause its only gonna get better from here
I jumped straight to the manga for the ecchi scene after watching a couple episodes. However, i came out reading a masterpiece. Im only ch.80 or so, but the story just keeps getting better, the characters, the passion behind their hobbies, and the many characters along the way. Im glad its got 24 episodes, this finna be peak ❤
I have to agree this anime is absolutely amazing, I love the story and it instantly hooks me in after episode one. And just like you, I see a lot myself in the main character. And I swear, if those two don't end up together, the end of the series, I'm going to be so annoyed.
My favorite moment was during the event when the other photographer said everyone had a Lillelle phase. I tried to think of a real life equivalent, and realized that some of the shows that started my anime journey, people today may never have heard of

I'm watching this one and yes, the theme is similar to My Dress-up Darling but mostly in that the Main Girl is into Cosplay and the Main Guy is helping her, the rest are different circumstances. I'm liking it and not just for the Ecchi, the story is quite nice. Also, like I usually do when I hear VA that sound familiar... It seems that I've heard before: Okumura: Nasa from Tonikawa, Naoya from KanoKano among others Ririsa: Magia Magenta from Gushing Mikari: Tsukasa also from Tonikawa, Nezuko from Demon Slayer, Kyouka Uzen from Chained Soldier, among others.
Bro, this is why I LOVE DxD. The story, characters, and worldbuilding was just so cool that I could care less about the ecchi in it. I’m glad there are standouts like DxD and 2.5DS.
Ririsa literally just Looks like a slightly older version of Mashu from FGO and that's amazing. She even says Senpai, wears glasses and her hair style matches Mashu's quite a bit
I was planning to watch it when the uncensored version come out but after finding out that the translator screw up intentionally on the sub, I am going to avoid it and watch a different ecchi anime.
It took me some weeks before I started this anime. Still not fully into it but at the same time I'm just waiting for the feds to flashbomb my place and put me in the slammer without any form of justice and chance to defending myself 😂
I came into this because it reminds me of My Dress-Up Darling. And it’s very close to it… But Marin is best girl. Even so, this anime is deeper than what the Ecchi genre it gives. Plus, the main protagonist is extremely relatable. And understanding the manga, it’s a lot deeper.
I love Ririsa because she is bascially a cosplaying Mash Kyrielight. It also helps the two female VAs are basically the same ones as the Isekai Cheat skill so my head canon is that this is a rematch for the MC.
Yeah I have watched some animes in the past thinking there where an echi but actually enjoying the story way more. Happened with Solo Leveling, I had watch those Solo Leveling abrighed shorts and I mistaken did them for an echi only to find that they where was fan dubs after watching the anime.
3:20 I was into BOTH Real Girls and Fictional Characters. The thing was, Real Girls rejected me during my high school life, only considered me as a friend and I thought a friend was a good buddy to talk to about stuff, but sadly they all treated me like I was a stranger because they were all into boys hotter than what I was. So that is where Misty from Pokemon came into my life during my teenage years when Gen 1 of Pokemon started and it went from there with fan art and fan fiction I found during the early 2000s of the net.
I'm pretty sure everyone loves Ririsa. Apparently there are more characters coming, but honestly I doubt they'll top Ririsa. Seems like even the show knows she's top tier as that other girl hardly gets any screen time.
3:50 looking at the design of the character, she reminds me of Demon Angel Jiburiru. And if you know what I am talking about, sing with me. "Lets Go Lovely Henshin Time" And don't forget... "Oh my oh my Little My Heart"
Read all the available manga and the anime is just as spectacular. Lilysa is the best girl this season and the love story between Masamune and Lilysa is fun as it progresses. Yeah, there is plenty of fan service but it is not like it dominates the story.
I read most of the Manga and definitely enjoyed what I read although I was completely in shock that it got announced with an anime despite how far the Manga has at this point. It's pretty obvious that the anime is only gonna be like a 13 episode preview of the Manga so it all depends on if the anime version will be successful so we can get a season 2. Again the manga was a lot of fun and at least the anime is out for people who want to watch that instead.
i dont hate this one atleast the teacher safed this show to not drop it for me but when it comes to this seasons romance genre... to many losing heroines and pseudo harem are superior to this one atleast for me

As a big ecchi fan myself this anime was a let down for me. they tone down the lewd so yeah it's been censored. they also changed the name of the female character from Lilysa to Ririsa.

I gotta back onto crunchy roll and start watching anime like this. I got ecchi fever when I was in my mid teens (25 years ago), and I just can't shake the urges to watch hot anime gals. Recently... it was a short series called Azur Lane. I stumbled across it, and it seemed to pique my interest. I'm a Navy vet. These are ship girl waifus. Win win. But there's a few scenes that made me think, "Is the lotion and tissue box handy?" I ain't gonna lie, I usually base my interest in a particular anime on the quality of the female characters' personalities in it. The story comes second on the list. So. I will most definitely be checking out this anime series. 😊 ecchi girls. Am I right?!😊😊
Simetimes fan service gets in the way and it's legit hard to watch *ahem* Kono Suba - Litterally no character progression ever or real story. It was so bad I could not finish the anime. Date Alive and the Sacred Blacksmith are also trash that I couldn't watch. Date Alive really makes zero sense and the MC of Sacred Blacksmith is written to be so incompetent she's struggling to be the MC.
