I seen Pantera 7 times 1990 - 2000 and I will say this is the best tribute that ever will be for the brothers! Phil and Rex and the others are killing it!
I was hoping for primal c.s. and cemetery gates. Don't know if Phil can still hit those notes. Still that show took me back to the masquerade in Atlanta 1990.
Yea this is a good lineup as far as being in the friend's circle of the brothers. It's not the same though without them. Im old enough to have seen them allot before but Im very happy this is happening for the younger blood who will never get to experience the actual band. Half is better than nothing I say lol.
No its not the same and never will be, but as someone who was in the crowd I can say that it definitely felt like Pantera to me nonetheless and not just because they were playing the songs and had the logo, it feels legit when you're there in person. Not that I think it should be a permanent reunion and go farther than this tour and some one-offs, but still

I was just at this show last night with my son and fiancee!! Amazing show Phil Zakk Rex and Charlie are on point!! They sounded amazing and put on a hell of a show!!!
They definitely are the headliners of any concert even after all these years later they sound so good their never will be another band like them glad to see and hear them again

Saw them April 22, 1992 opening up for Skid Row if you can believe that. At the Paramount theater in NYC, which is the smaller venue underneath Madison Square Garden. Not the same band obviously, but glad they got it together to do this tribute. Was kind of sad I missed it, but this video makes up for it. Thank you so much for sharing!!!

Great show last night. Hard to believe my first Pantera concert was 33 years ago. I would have liked it if Zakk could have done, In This River, as a tribute to Dime and Vinnie.
Attended this show and was thoroughly impressed with the work by both Abbott Brother fill-ins. Phil and Rex still slay the songs like the days gone by. Thanks for doing this. Met Burton C Bell in the general population crowd too. 🤘🤘

I have a vague recollection of several months ago someone on their Facebook page asking them why they aren't they playing the UK, the Pantera page admin responded "next year", so I'm guessing that they'll be back in Europe, and finally play the UK in 2024. And seeing that you mention Metallica, they've already announced a European return next year, including a nice mid-June to mid-July UK sized gap! Fingers crossed that'll do me 🤞(they're revisiting some of the 2023 countries). Even better if Metallica and Pantera play the UK together! 🤞

I saw Pantera in their prime in 1994. One of the most amazing experiences of my life. Shiddy the way things went down. Part of me thinks if Dime were still around they could have all patched things up and this would be their real reunion tour, another part of me thinks that maybe Phil wouldn’t have ever got his act together without the tragedy. Who knows?

I agree...minus the Kerry King part...I had a Slayer tribute band about a decade ago and we went deep on those solos and believe it or not Kerry King has some way out there shit. Much respect for Kerry King & Dime was by far the best of all time....amongst all of the greats.
Glad to see the tribute is making people happy, but man does Zakk’s style bother me. His notes have no weight behind them, it’s all sizzle and no steak. Pick a note and make it count!
Zakk needs to tighten his palm muting and learn the guitar solos. I'm glad someone else notices Zakk is not filling the shoes. And for any haters...I play...and I would take the challenge. I've played many of these songs and would be glad to help out...
