For cosmetic samples and baby clothes, I’ve donated to women’s shelters and they’ve always been very appreciative. As long as they have not expired, this makes the most sense to me. Happy decluttering, everyone 😊

I save Christmas gift bags because we reuse them. But I donate all others. Instead, I purchase various sizes of kraft gift bags and use tissue paper to match the person or occasion. Everything has a home.

I don't want to miss any of your instructions but you are speaking so fast I don't know some of what you're saying! Is there a way that i can slow the audio down on my computer or your posts? I really want to hear all the info. Thanks!

My apologies to you, Laura, but, not only as a teacher, but an individual who really likes people despite their individual ways, I totally agree that your enormously fast way of speaking might very likely be difficult for even a majority of your listeners. Perhaps a clue would be listening to yourself. Nevertheless, thank YOU for your commitment of sharing with us really helpful decluttering & organizing tips! 😊

Best Buy recycles used batteries, as well as old electronics. Also, battery stores usually recycle.

I did put all my gift bags in my garage sale last summer. Sold lots of the them. What was left finally fit in the storage bag I had for gifts bag. Books are hard. Work in progress.

I have been binge watching organization videos this January of 2024, when I came across your channel. For the record every January I seem to binge watch organization videos, lol, as well as watching them throughout the year. Already watched 4 of your videos! Your advise is right on and also brought many great tips that others don't. I definitely subscribed!

Where I lie you can take dead batteries almost anywhere. Schools even have drop of points for those. I had trouble getting rid of books so recently bought a second bookshelf. At least they fit and are organised right now.

When I listen to videos like this , I like to see what all I am
already doing. I feel like I’m ahead of the game when I hear things I’ve already tossed or repurposed and removed from my house. I also get ideas of things I can improve on. Thanks for your ideas!

There may be folks who make quilts for missions in the United States or overseas. Not fancy - just plain blocks made to about single bed size for those in need. Our church group uses old sheets, blankets, bedspreads for the backs and middles.

I don't have a ton of Notes, but you prompted me to evaluate and start paring them down. There's a lot more work to be done on the inbox, but you've already helped me do some cleanup. Thanks, Laura!
