I have seen several stubborn Owl House fans accuse this show of being an ‘ripoff’ or a ‘replacement’ despite the fact that the plots have no similarities whatsoever. I should know because I have watched up to Episode 5 as of now, and I think the show is going great. People are all the same, unfairly attacking new shows just because they’re too upset that theirs ended 😑
I honestly like the show well so far so, I like the animation and the beautiful bright colors of the show world. I just hope they don't royalty botch up the inevitable pairing of Hailey and Scott, which is clearly gonna happen as the series go on, but let's hope they do it better than Star and Marco, where they couldn't decide whenever or not to let them be together.
While I wouldn't mind if they do get together, I also won't mind if Scott and Kristine end up staying a couple. We rarely see this kind of thing happen in cartoons and it can give good messages to kids and teenagers that are in Hailey's situation. I mean, the list didn't say that Hailey has to be with Scott, only for her to just kiss him and it didn't even say if it had to be on the lips.
I’d like it if they did Hailey confessing to Scott but them still being friends. Because SPOILERS . . . . . Hailey’s Dad, Kai, mentions how their friendship is still strong and how the owl in their Hawaiian culture is basically a good luck charm. So they’ll still be best friends to the end. But I wouldn’t hate it if they ended up together since they’ve been friends for years and Hailey already had feelings. At least it feels natural compared to Starco, and Starco was done horribly due to shipping wars and how Jackie, Kelly and Tom were treated. Plus the ending all because of Starco.

I’m really digging the show far. Pretty funny, great voice actors, and honestly very vibrant in colors. But let me get this out of the way. A lot of people are already not giving the show a chance for it supposedly not being “the big Disney TVA story-driven show.” I feel like most modern Disney TVA shows like Gravity Falls, Amphibia, and The Owl House - as much as I eternally adore all three of those shows - have really influenced people to expect more Disney shows with heavy plots spanning across almost the entire run of a show. And while those types of shows are always enjoyable, why shun the shows that aren’t story-driven, especially before watching the first episode? Phineas and Ferb, Wander Over Yonder, Big City Greens, The Ghost and Molly McGee, and even [more recently] Kiff have been comfort shows for us to relax and laugh without anxiety from a suspenseful cliffhanger, and some of them still have story elements to entice viewers to keep watching. With Hailey, I will be more than happy if it goes incredibly deep with the story or not, because it looks fun. If every show was tremendously and emotionally plot heavy, we’d be dehydrated from all the crying or pass out from trying to catch our breath 24/7. Bottomline: give Hailey a chance. Who knows? It could a direct or in-direct successor to a previous Disney TVA story, but for now, watch it for what it is.

Auli’i Cravalho voices Hailey, hence probably why part of Hailey’s middle name is Auli’i. And as many of you, Auli’i Cravalho voiced Moana and did an amazing job with her. With the upcoming live action Moana remake 🤢, I’m kinda glad Auli’i declined reprising her role because, while it would’ve made the movie more serviceable (which isn’t saying much as it being a remake of a Disney film less than a decade old), I doubt it was gonna be worth her time or anyone’s time. So maybe, with enough acknowledgment, _Hailey’s On It!_ could be worth more of her time.
i definitely think they are setting up for a bigger plot. i mean just look at one of the shows you keep mentioning: Amphibia. at first it just seemed like it was gonna be a fun episodic show with not much plot other than reuniting with her friends and getting home, but it turned out to be much more

I have a streaming service, but because I live in a certaincountry, it censored alot and didn't have the Hanukkah and bat mitzvah episodes. We currently don't have Haileys on it, but when we do i guarantee that they will change the plot in order to not have 2 kids kiss. i may give it a shot i remember the trailer for it but forgot all about it plus i need a new show to watch since most my good shows are done and i only have a few left that are airing new episodes, also you should keep doing them

The beginning scene of the show really reminds me of the Gravity falls beginning in episode 1. It’s quite an exciting parallel!!!
