Its so sad we will probably never get to see another Rockstar game like bully again. I have a friend who will die on the hill for the need of a second Bully game.
I still have hope that maybe a smaller group of rockstar developers will work on a Bully sequel, while the main team works on RDR or GTA. Fingers crossed 🤞🏼
There is no "need" for a 2nd Bully game. It's perfect as a standalone game and just like school in real life you only do it once. Some games are better without sequels. I can't think of any scenario of a Bully sequel that would work.
@@Fireglo A sequel doesn't have to mean a continuation of Jimmy's story, when ppl say a second game i'm assuming most people just want another game in the series with modern hardware. There is already a plethora of cut content in the original Bully that would've made it even more amazing, imagine what they could do now! Plus there a lot of different cliques I would like to see them experiment with.
I've played this game so much and watched so many videos... still baffles me that rockstar never made a sequel. Sure it's not as profitable as gta but it would still sell well enough I believe. We'll probably never know.
I would love it if a smaller team within Rockstar could work on other games besides RDR and GTA, this way we could still have a unique release every 2 or 3 years in between the big ones. But yeah, chances are slim.
As someone who also has a passion for both video games and video editing, I absolutely adore the style of your videos and I genuinely can't wait to see your channel inevitably blow up. You earned a new sub! Phenomenal work bro 👏
This came out in the golden age of Rockstar, they made amazing games years in a row. But yeah, there's something special about this one. A true passion project!
I've never told anyone this, but when I finally "lost it" I was in Vice City. I met a woman at the Malibu Club and we really connected. Days later I picked her up in my father's Admiral, we sat there just staring ahead with blank expressions on our faces; the car rocked back-and-forth for what seemed like, well, not very long....then she got out of the car, I lost a bit of money in the upper left-hand screen, and she left....What I'm trying to say is that it reminded me of my first kiss at Bullworth with that nerd......(Me being real - Damn, Bully might be my favorite Rockstar game as well! Lovely Vid!)
This reminds me that I should play the game again! I might pick it up for the PS2 to try the console version out. I love Bully, it's such a unique game having one of the most captivating worlds R* has ever created. I also love every aspect of the game that makes it distinct from GTA despite the obvious similarities! In Bully I really felt like being a mischevious student living in a boarding school with the many freaks and restrictions I had as a player and also the rather deep sandbox the game offers you. I love that R* went down this route more in Read Dead Redemption 2, GTA could benefit from this treatment too, but ideally a second Bully would be amazing! Although, we should be happy the first one exists already, it is hard to surpass it!
Thanks for stopping by, I always enjoy reading your takes! The PS2 version has it's own mood, with lower render distances and more muddy brown textures. Also a great way to play the game I think. I agree with you, for that reason i enjoy Red Dead more than the GTA games. Never really got into them, except for GTA IV. But i enjoyed that game for different reasons. How cool would a second Bully be though, endless possibilities :)
@@GameTalesHQ Exactly haha, the possibilities ARE endless! Shit schools exist everywhere and I bet R* could easily create another instalment with a wholly different protagonist and a new boarding school set in a small town! Would definitely be a nice change of pace again to see a smaller game world by R* again, but sadly I am not too sure about them ever considering a Bully 2 game without the possibility of online play nowadays. Well, fingers crossed!
If we do have A Bully 2, The Tryhards will probably be the Jocks/greasers & the grinders will be the Preps/nerds. The academy will be 3 x bigger then in Bully 1. We will have black market business around town & under the academy.
This game is already good enough alone, it’s best it doesn’t get a sequel. Maybe a few mods then and there changing up the graphics or gameplay whilst improving some things can work.
Well, the PC port isn't pretty eighter. Even with mods it crashed on me a couple of times, without mods it's a nightmare. What's wrong with the PSN version?
@@GameTalesHQ PC version is better, the PSN one is borderline unplayable for me bc of input lag. To remedy PC Bully crashing even with mods u have to make sure to run it in Windows XP compatibility mode! After doing that my game never crashed again. Still, there are some weird oddities to the PC version and i think the best way for ppl to experience Bully is with a ps2 or xbox 360.

Mad video bro, amazing job
Thanks! I appreciate it.
someone at rockstar cared more about this game and it’s detail than any other title and i for the life of me do not know why
also, great video!

The fact that the main character looks like Bobby Hill *can't* be a coincidence
One of my favourite game!! And we need the Bully 2 !
It's my favorite Rockstar game, I'd prefer a Bully 2 over GTA VI actually!
Jim norton comedian voiced the security guard great game was so wild on the ps2 felt very next gen

I was hoping Pokémon scarlet and Violet would take some inspiration from this game
Rockstar wya w the remaster and part 2?
Rockstar pls respond
there's a ps vita port - haven't downloaded it yet

A game that will never get a sequel but deserved one
A game that is better off without a sequel. How would a sequel even work?
