@theobserver3753 buying a used electric would be pretty dumb as you would need to replace the battery within a few years and that's a 20k price tag.

@@waffleswafflson3076Appeal to authority is not a good approach - a very leftist approach, and given how left wing governments under communism and other socialist ideology tend to watch their economies crumble: Lets stick to reasonably acquired data.
So instead of making an appeal to authority - "Why would you think Tesla should get out of the Electric car market, when ~30% of people are considering electric cars, and the US automotive market alone is ~50 million units per year in volume?".
you can be a blue collar worker, and have some business sense - just prefer to work a 9-5 or whatever, and go home for the day. Which is to say: Stop appealing to authority, and start using reasonable facts as any decent business person with some accolades is actually going to give two shits about.
Pieces of paper don't make a competent business operator - Experiencing and knowledge do; and very often, book work is only useful in niche scenario's.

Cars have faster reaction times with computer controls than they do with terrible human drivers. There are plenty of videos out there of the computer driver assist avoiding accidents that the driver could not have possibly avoided and in some cases wasn't even aware of before the car had already avoided it. So while there are improvements to be made and there are problems with it, it's far less dangerous than the idiots on the road especially in the us. The drivers test in pretty much any state in the USA is a joke compared to how difficult it is to get a driver's license in the EU
