I think most of us agree with you. These two have gone through so much and even at the end,Siyan managed to continue to keep them apart, until the bridge scene. This drama lacks the impact of those emotional scenes between Zhou Ran and Rong Xuan when I feel the bubbling emotions should lead to an embrace or something more meaningful !!
I like this drama, but so sad the ending is hanging🥴is their another episode to be continued?because Ye Rongxuan didn't proposed yet the ring is still in his pocket🙄i love them both Zhou Ran and Ye Rongxuan🥰
His rep was that of a player though. If he had not had that reputation and had he told her why he made a deal (it was to save her), she might have if she thought there was no way to get back her second love. Plus, him being her third, she was ready to just be alone. He was the most romantic and caring when it came to her. And he was a true friend.

It was so obvious they loved each other but they parted and it was over. Then adding insult to injury the production team put together a second small series of later that also was very unsatisfying. I felt cheated just like this ending. He finally realized how important she was to help him grow. The ending was not all that romantic. Bad writing and directing. The ML is gorgeous, and Peter Sheng is always a pleasure to watch and look at. Zhang Tian Ai also plays well against him. Very expressive features. This is the second drama with these two. Go, Princess, Go also had a sadistic disappointing ending.
The ending should have had them getting together on the bridge. This is so unfulfilling, there is a chasm between them. No hugs or kissing to end this long drawn out series. So much could have been eliminated. I really wanted the woman editor to reveal all of Siyan's evil in front of the two lovers to get rid of her. Didn't happen!! Siyan got off easy, far too easy!!! I hope they have a second series that begins anew in Venice with more kissing and a wedding would have been GREAT!! The writers and producers dropped the ball at the end. They are going to be together I am sure but we as the audience that struggled through all these episodes needed, and deserved, a much more loving ending. I guess the important thing is the lovers were there at the appointed time as promised. Redo this mess and help out your viewers.
Dear CD directors, you are all doing an impressive job. And you all use the same method when it comes to your directors' work. The good old “film noir” technique! But nowadays in film scenes, it's not common for actors to watch each other or hesitate to speak for 15", 20" or even up to 40" seconds in film scenes. There is no one who walks very slowly in “film noir” mode after a sentimental blow. That was a technique from the 1960s, right? Time to change that. Thank you for the beautiful, heart-warming Chinese Dramas!
Forgot to add that the wardrobe of Zhou Ran and Ye Ronxugan was stunning. The most definitely paired well, just disappointing that there wasn't a bonus episode, where we could see them being a couple or even married...instead of our imagination to speak for itself while they somehow "met up" at the bridge...and then take it from there, even with Guo Rui and Xiouman???

only 43 eps. This is the ending. The writers never give the bchs any punishment, The ML forgives her and that's it. IMO, it's too convoluted that he didn't love his ex, because when he was telling the FL how deeply he loved the ex before she left him, it seems that he could never love another woman.

El nunca lucho por ella, nunca se enteró de las cosas malas que hizo la otra,ni se disculpo con ella.. no se si fue el final pero este epi no me gustó y otra cosa yangyang se fue a un internado porque el padre se fue con la amiga,la madre con su trabajo y el niño no lo vi más esa parte me la perdí..la madre de la prota dónde se mudó porque ella se fue al extranjero pero la madre que onda..muchos fragmentos sueltos sin sentido recuerdos innecesarios y esa carrera para decirle que la cuide jajaja no la verdad ese epi 👎, quiero creer que falta otro,yo la vi hace mucho pero no recuerdo que este sea el final .
why did the director of the film make such a weak ending? He plowed through the main leads throughout practically the entire drama, and then gave a few seconds for a supposedly happy ending at the bridge, suggesting that after a year they met and actually it's not entirely clear because they stand on opposite sides of the canal... a cold, cold ending without hugs or hugs. ... half a smile, as if pleased with the meeting... very weak considering the previous trauma... it's a pity that they left the level so low... I really dislike this hasty, as if without any idea, ending for the main couple... this the scene of their reunion should be completely different, more emotional... sometimes it happens that the author of the script burns out halfway through the drama and then there is no good end... and in the end I think that the drama was definitely too long....
All throughout this drama the ML hardly ever showed his true feelings, he always held back. Rarely did he treat his ML woman with courtesy, respect or even think of how what he did would affect her. Personally I had hoped that the ML female actress would have married the photography guy. He seemed to really love her in his thoughts and actions. The ML male actor seems like he would be a great actor, but he needs parts where he can truly act using all of his feelings and actions rather than just standing in one spot and occasionally running to find her. While I liked this drama, I kept feeling that more emotion could been shown rather than hidden by everyone. They could have at least spoken to the person they were interested in and told them how they felt rather than keeping it as a thought in their own head. I could tell that the main couple loved each other, but did they know that they did? Thank you for putting this on RUclips.

A thought the ending was quietly beautiful no fan fair … no running into each others arms….no kiss…he got to where she was and every place he went he had memories of her dancing in his head .. and then finally he’s standing there….. He looks over the water and see her walking and she slowly turns and faces him .. just a sweet presence of love ……. Their smiles were faint at first ….then their smiles like their love …grew brighter and brighter like the noon day sun 🌞 ☀️.. He didn’t carry her across that bridge for nothing ..😍🥰The handsome boy came along way to find his happy ever after …. Her ….🙃🙂yay!!! 👏👏🏻👏🏼👏🏽👏🏾👏👏🏼👏🏽
Of course the bch doesn't get punished or retribution, no remorse or regret, because she knows the ML will always love her. From the time he described how deeply he loved his ex bch, I don't see how the writers can expect the audience to believe that he stopped loving her. After everything she did, he forgives her and dumps his GF and with all that, the writers will have a happy ending for the ML and FL? It's too convoluted. This drama was made up of pieces of other dramas.

O final com o cenário de Veneza foi lindo. A lagarta teve q se transformar em uma borboleta e, quiçá agora, o Homem de Gelo se apaixone por essa nova versão dela mesma, pois, até agora, além de sua confusão mental, ele gostava mais era do luxo e sofisticação da Dong. Pra mim, história de amor é qdo, do começo ao fim da história, vc é apaixonado, dedicado e arrebatado por esse amor. Aqui, não houve nada disso.

It would have been a better ending with him running to cross bridge to hug her or both running to each other and reuniting in middle of bridge,but instead writer left ending with both stood staring like pair of idiots.disappointing final scene.

Disappointing ending as it lacks the reconciliation of the leads. At least, they should have run up the bridge, wrapped each other on their arms for a long passionate kiss. As it didnt happen, viewers, USE YOUR IMAGINATION!!!!!
Why would a talented intelligent sophisticated and reasonable lady want to be with aman who time and again left her side, mistrusts her and Made her life professional personal (even if slightly) difficult. It’s fine if you don’t feel inclined towards the SML but why need a guy at all at that stage. Give yourself distance and space all the butterflies that were complicating the decision will surely go away to give way to rational decision (which would obviously be not to be with ML😅)
I'm still hoping that Zhou Ran and Gu Yunfei will become couple at the end but the male lead in this drama is Ye Rongxuan aahhh only in my dream😢 Is this the end??
Bro the second lead was soo thoughtful and caring of her and helped her to save her love but this bitch had to fall for the one who ran right back to his past love the moment he had a chance and did shit to hurt her and didn't give a damn about the consequences of his actions. I know love can make people do dumb shit but that was way too bull shit for my taste. Imo the second lead should have just left after finding out that she still had feelings for the male lead and not help. I can never be that selfless to help the one I love to see them longing for someone else. That would break me and leave me with wrath to see everything destroyed. Nice ending although some would have wanted a big hug & a passionate ending kiss so just continue it in your mind since the director ended a minute soonest🙃😊. Some wanted the more romantic, caring, responsible Gu for ZhouRan but you can't forced love. Anyways, I love the friendship of the ladies, two ants & the loyalty of the lovely Xiaofei & ZhaoRan.

Personally I had hoped that the ML female actress would have married the photography guy. He seemed to really love her in his thoughts and actions. The ML male actor seems like he would be a great actor, but he needs parts where he can truly act using all of his feelings and actions rather than just standing in one spot and occasionally running to find her. While I liked this drama, I kept feeling that more emotion could been shown rather than hidden by everyone. They could have at least spoken to the person they were interested in and told them how they felt rather than keeping it as a thought in their own head. I could tell that the main couple loved each other, but did they know that they did? Thank you for putting this on RUclips.

Of course the bch doesn't get punished or retribution, no remorse or regret, because she knows the ML will always love her. From the time he described how deeply he loved his ex bch, I don't see how the writers can expect the audience to believe that he stopped loving her. After everything she did, he forgives her and dumps his GF and with all that, the writers will have a happy ending for the ML and FL? It's too convoluted. This drama was made up of pieces of other dramas.

Why would a talented intelligent sophisticated and reasonable lady want to be with aman who time and again left her side, mistrusts her and Made her life professional personal (even if slightly) difficult. It’s fine if you don’t feel inclined towards the SML but why need a guy at all at that stage. Give yourself distance and space all the butterflies that were complicating the decision will surely go away to give way to rational decision (which would obviously be not to be with ML😅)

Bro the second lead was soo thoughtful and caring of her and helped her to save her love but this bitch had to fall for the one who ran right back to his past love the moment he had a chance and did shit to hurt her and didn't give a damn about the consequences of his actions. I know love can make people do dumb shit but that was way too bull shit for my taste. Imo the second lead should have just left after finding out that she still had feelings for the male lead and not help. I can never be that selfless to help the one I love to see them longing for someone else. That would break me and leave me with wrath to see everything destroyed. I think I would rather get away from all that shit than suffer.
Man it sucks to be second lead in dramas. Please I hope and pray to which ever god or random omnipotent being out there is please please please don't make my own love life/story this messy with the past of the one I am pursing coming to haunt me. Fué muy seco, simple esté final, para tanto drama qué huvo, pero bueno ni modos, espero qué los escritores mejoren estos finales tan simples.

Some wanted the more romantic, caring, responsible Gu for ZhouRan but you can't forced love. Anyways, I love the friendship of the ladies, two ants & the loyalty of the lovely Xiaofei & ZhaoRan.
