He looks like a good man, well behaved, smart and funny. Whit his gorgeous , smiling wife... it's beautiful to watch them. ❤️❤️
Grazie mille Sonia un abbraccio da entrambi❤️
When I was in college I placed my purse on the floor and an older lady came by and put on chair. She said if you place your purse on the floor you will loose money. I’m so jealous every time I watch you take a bite! Italian food is my favorite and I can only imagine experiencing it in its motherland. I have enjoyed watching you both and your travels!
Please show more northern Italian specialties in the USA we are bombarded with southern Italian cooking…
You are so right. As a nothern italian it annoys me that people around the world think that our cuisine is just the one from the south, tomato and mozzarella everywhere. I come from Piedmont and I don't think we have a single traditional dish with tomato in it...I'm not saying southern cooking is bad, it's delicious, but we have so much more variety in our country.
You're right, especially from northeast of Italy wich have a tradition deeply melted with Austria,Slovenia and Hungary too!You can find a lot of amazing flavors !
@@riccardodotto84 It is Italian mostly with a little French on the whole.
@@BigSmallTravel It is not. 😂 Friuli, Trieste and Trentino-South Tyrol are very cereal European in terms of cuisine. It's close to Austrian and Slovenian one, not really French
@@marcdalfriul Romans founded many towns in Austria so it is northern Italy to me. Slovenia should be part of Italy as well Istria in Croatia as they were part of the Venetian Republic.
Real Italian cuisine is the finest food in the world. Traditional regional specialties are a must to try. Such a delight watching the two of you!
PROVEN FACT...#1 most popular in the world even in France...there's a YT video of the French admitting it. "Dossier du Jour : Cuisine italienne : la préférée des Français !"
Watching you eat....you made my mouth water. I was imagining what the food tasted like. You 2 are the best!
"Finest" ? Highly subjective. I find street tacos to be of the finest and highest quality food out there in the world.
@@MrShenron89 Dude, we're talking averages, no ethnic food is favored #1 by every person on the planet, the fact is Italian restaurants outnumber every other ethnicity in virtually every country.
@@MrShenron89 tacos are great but they’re just street food, you seem American
Thanks for allowing me to live vicariously through you. I can't afford a $200 lunch nor plane tickets to Italy but i did so enjoy watching you two enjoy that beautiful meal. GREAT VIDEO! Fun to watch.
Granted there is the plane ride involved and this meal was certainly not inexpensive especially with all the wines, but you might be surprised to know that there are some Michelin star restaurants ( likely not all tablecloth restaurants) that are very affordable. The Michelin website even has a search feature where you can sort restaurants by price and choose ones if you are "on a budget"
After my 10 day trip to Venice-Verona-Bolzano I lost 30lbs because upon returning to the US… i couldn’t eat the crap served here… This video brought me tears 😢 of happiness! Grazie!!!
You know there are plenty of great restaurants in America. No reason to eat crap.
Folks will say anything on the internet.
The worst part about it is the 'stuff' you said you had trouble eating again probably cost you more, or at least the same as in Italy. I can understand and empathize with you. In Italy they don't purposely price gouge you like in most other countries, just rip you off to enrich themselves. The prices Italians charge for the level of food is worth every cent and more.
It’s awesome to see a Frenchman have an appreciation of true Italian cuisine. 😏
Ummm, I'm pretty sure he's Italian.
@@debbiescott6732and i am pretty sure you don't follow them often, here everybody knows he is a true french person with baguette, manicure, pedicure, Tour Eiffel and cote azure, except you of course
@@ReaperOfSouls83 you don't have to get rude about it.
@@debbiescott6732 another thing i don't agree, my comment wasn't rude at all
@ Reaper of souls you are the one who is soooo wrong. She even calls him her "Italian" husband in many of her videos. He's Italian and he even brags about it especially when it comes to comparing Italian and French wines in their videos. So excuse me, I do watch their videos.
I love, love, love this! THIS is why I travel to Italy. Thank you for showing your joy over the wonderful food!
As a North italian... You ll ever welcome in italy❤
You both are phenomenal. Love your energy, your respect for one another and appreciation of proper food. Thank you !!!
Thank you so much!❤️
It's cute how Jessi is so concerned about her eating etiquette. I'm sure the chef is very happy to see customers shoveling the food into their mouths because it means they're enjoying his creations.
Pure joy watching you taste and savor every morsel. Wish we were there!
Was so excited to watch this! I’m in Friuli researching places to eat and was so glad to find your videos!!! 😊
Thanks for sharing! I love Italian cuisine as well as your videos! I would recommend Bistrot de Venise in Venice, Degusteria Italiana in Florence and Vanda in Rome!
Awesome episode in Italy 🇮🇹. Love the land, people, and the food over there. I have a good friend over there in A'lpago Belluno. The food is fantastic.
Oh my gosh, I think I could almost taste this gorgeous food. You made this experience so tantalizingly fabulous.
Never tried that food but looks delicious. The crunch of the toast, wow.
lol this was amazing! I felt like I was there with you guys.
Grazie mille ❤️ Spero che tu abbia una Domenica stupenda
I' ve only ever had good gnocchi in Italy. Everytime I have tried it in the US it tastes like paste. One of my favorite dishes was gnocchi with pesto that I had at a restaurant in Florence. Thank you for taking us along.
dang ! I'm hungry for amazing food and travel. love you guys
Watching you two react after putting something delicious in your mouth makes my day! What a lovely video! I want that cheesy gnocchi OMG
the Gnocchi was just wow 😉
Because of you two, the next time I go to Italy I will definitely visit Friuli!
❤️
I smiled all through this! I love venison, it's my favorite meat. Wow..what a spectacular meal!!!
The food looks amazing !! I love the colored glasses 🤗🤗
This is so bomb!!! I know the red wine was good! I’m just smiling like it was me at the table! 👌👌❤
Thanks for the vlog. Will definitely go to that place and try what you ordered.
Wow ... just wow .. awesome! Definitely on my bucket list.
Omg looks so delicious 🤤 and the way you describe everything sounds that I will love it 😍 I love when gnocchi melts in your mouth or the pitina ❤ I want to try everything Jessie ordered lol the cabbage thing the gnocchi yummy yummy 😋👌👌👌
My husband and I love your videos! Would you be able to describe the dishes that you eat a little more? (I.e. what are the other ingredients, the flavours). It helps with the viewing experience, in my opinion. ❤
Loved watching you guys eat. Buon appetito!
Thanks for making me hungry 😂😂😂😂 I’ll order in from an olive now, or open a can 😉😉 thank you for sharing this experience with the world!
I can totally relate to this video. Life is short, enjoy the best foods and don’t settle for all the crap out there.
I love to see you enjoy your food.❤❤❤
Mandi! I fully agree about the cheese! Montasio is my very favourite cheese. From soft and young Latteria to the very old, yellow wax-like one. I grew up very close to the border to Friuli in Carinthia and for many years we owned a house in Aqulieia. - Living in Vienna now, my parents have to always provide us with Montasio from Ugovizza. We will definitely check out this Trattoria!
Miss you Italy can't wait❤❤❤
Delicious👌 adding to my go to restaurant❤
Grazie! For showing me bellissima Italian food!🤯
I'm having mouthgasms watching this...
Italian food always makes us happy! Great video.
Thank you!
Loved the expressions on your faces! Enjoy Italia! Cant wait for more videos!
GRAZIE Mille! ❤️ see you next Friday and Sunday 😉
@@ThePasinis Prego ragazzi. Ci vediamo. Buona notte! That about all the Italian I know. Mebbe lil more
I totally pinned this four different ways so I can eat here someday! Beautiful meal -- thanks for sharing,
thank you so much for your support
Hello From Lake Tahoe California. I used to live in Italy when I was a kid been talking to friends and we were thinking of visiting during the summer time and travel all over Italy and I would like to visit Rome as well because I was Baptized there.😎👍
I cried with envy and joy for you ❤ looks wonderful
Holy crap, it's really cheap!! I've been up in that general northern area of Italy a lot over the last 15-20 years or so, and I can promise you I will be eating at this restaurant the next time I'm around. Wow!
The prices look very reasonable for a Michelin restaurant! That is great!
Because they have a Bib Gourmand 2023 which places get for a good value-for-money (they do not have any star). So the food is very good but the prices still affordable
@@katrinlausch3078 Oh I see! Still great though
Omg watching your faces as you tried all of this amazing food killed me! My mouth is watering 😋
Your reactions make me feel happy :) wish I could be there with you guys. I would normally eat any of those kinds of things because they sound odd to me but seeing your reactions they sound as amazing!! I need to live life and go to Italy
I always look forward to your videos! Thanks so much for sharing your experiences with all of us and safe travels 😊.
Thanks for watching! Have a Great Sunday
You are briging us next summer on a daily excursion from Slovenia. Thank you for your recommedation.
Americans living in Rovigo. We will get there to try the restaurant!
Hello from the Middle East .. Come visit here
Please describe the food a bit more tgan "wow"! But...wow! Looks amazing!!!!
Enjoy!! You deserve It! Eat as much as you can and fill up your luggage with goodies!
I could almost taste the amazing food just by your reactions to it! ❤
I could never eat at a place like this because there’s no way I could fit even half of that food lol! I absolutely adore food, especially fine foods, but I just can’t fit a lot.😂 Thanks for sharing all of your adventures!
This is the HAPPIEST I have seen you guys!! Move to Italia!! 😊
Grazie mille❤️
❤ you guys. The restaurant looks fantastic. It’s not a Michelin Star rather, it’s a Michelin rated restaurant. Big difference. Thank you for your videos and great laughs.
You guys rock!! I hope to have the same experience with my Italian in Napoli soon.❤️
when do you go! I think so you gonna have a very good time
@@ThePasinis Mid May ... I plan to marry him 🤭
This was amazing to watch. The happiness was so cute. When you're back home. Please can you make a video on all types of Asian (Chinese, Indian, Korean) food. I would love to see how Alessio handles spice.
Looks so AMAZING! Does it make me Italian if my Guinea pig loved radicchio. And I pronounced it correctly before seeing this. What an experience
Wow, if only I could ever go there. Looks so good, loved seeing all your videos of your trip thanks for sharing! ❤
Thanks for watching! ❤️
@@ThePasinis Have you ever watched the YT video Dossier du Jour : Cuisine italienne : la préférée des Français !
love to watch your channel!!
living the dream...love the vid
I thought you would find it interesting that according to Wine Searcher, the average price of the 2021 La Sclusa Cabernet Franc Colli Orientali del Friuli is $9. Everything tastes better in Italy. However, the trouble is I have not found any availability in U.S. Thanks for the great videos.
You need to open an Italian restaurant here in the states. Maybe Nashville 🤷🏻♀️
Too bad they are closed tomorrow 😢, I would go there for lunch in my way to Treviso. Hello from Slovenia:).
Upd, I was always wondering are you from Udine or Monfalcone from your tips about food and “northern Italy”
We need recipes for some of these dishes.😊
Yum! 🤤
In The United States it's profit over quality.
Too true. Too true.
Every time I hear anyone say, “This is the best thing I have ever eaten.”, I always think of Jessi. 😊🍽
I’m so over the moon jealous!!!!!
Please do more of these......second comment for this video. More please 😊
My favorite thing is to watch you two eat with such excitement for the food. The only sad thing is I'm not there to enjoy it. Lol Everything looked so delicious. Thank you for showing this place.
Y'all looked like you had an out of body experience 🤤
Might have to convince my brother to go here if they're open in August when I go back to Italy to visit family.
I'm like Jessi, radicchio is my favourite vegetable, I miss it so much here in England!
I was drooling all the way watching this. Montasio is the king of cheese! Friuli Venezia Giulia is such an underrated region, and it's one of the most beautiful and variated regions in Italy!
yeeeees you need to go and try it! in august it is open but just week ends and I don think it is radicchio from trevso because coming just in winter time😩 Ciao da Alessio
You should come more to Friuli and try more typical food :)
Dovreste venire di più in Friuli e provare più cibi tipici :)
makes me cry with joy!
A delightful video!!!
Yes, please show us more of Italys food-- and forget the usa fast food stuff. Please🙂
Seconded.
When I was a kid my parents always made gnocchi on Thanksgiving, never turkey.
They were the best.
My dad was from Castlenovo del Friuli.
I love your videos. I get happy with see a new video from both of you. You both a very beautiful couple together. Happiness TO Both Of You Always
Thank you so much!! ❤️ I hope you have an AMAZING Sunday
@@ThePasinis Welcome and same back to both of you
Alessio That is not being picky, that is having good taste in food and knowing that the product you are consuming is of good quality and the exquisite flavor that it must have.👌👌👌👌👌 your only problem is that you don't accept pineapple 🍍 on a pizza 🍕 and that the pasta is not overcooked lol😅
I have a cold and nothing tastes very good, but watching both of you share your experience at this restaurant and the joy you both express, is wonderful to see. Thank you both, much love from Minnesota.
A wonderful experience. Of course we live vicariously through you guys but I want to remind you to hit the McGym so you can stay in shape.
Sentite! C’è un ristorante con una stella sopra La Reggia di Veneria vicino a Torino. Dovete provare! Buonissimo
fantastic review the review was fantastic
Cibi italiani is always the best ❤ nice vedeo interessante
Come to Serbia and try our food. South. Cities: Leskovac, Nis and Pirot.
So fun
I love good food, my hobby is to eat at Michelin restaurants and I do so maybe 6 or 7 times a year. I also love Italian food but have yet to try an Italian Michelin star restaurant, having seen this I HAVE TO and soon!
This is not a starred restaurant. Its a Bib Gourmand. A bit missleading name on the video.......
Love radicchio, and there are many different kinds radicchio di Verona, palla rossa, trevisano, pan di zucchero, so many at least 15 different kinds. I have it in my garden every summer, and my neighbors get whatever I grow. I married a friulano, radicchio, polenta, baccala`, spezzatino, coniglio con vino bianco, and of course prosciutto San Daniele, and much more. Let's not forget trippe, so good cooked in wine sauce. Time consuming, but great. Cooking from scratch, that's what Italian food is all about. La Buona Cucina gastronomica Italiana regionale. Ciao.
I’ve waited for the sentence „I don’t belong here.“ - as someone who eats regularly in good restaurants, I’ve heard that quite often. And I always say the same thing: „Do you enjoy the food? Do you enjoy the experience? Do you honour the work and craftsmanship?“ if you can say „Yes!“ to this… you absolutely BELONG here! ☺️🥂
This is The kind of place that I walk into and they show me the wine list... And I order a peroni😅
The history of prosciutto stretches back to pre-Roman times. In San Daniele in Friuli, it was the Celtic people who first began preserving meat with salt (then the Romans began air curing), and in Parma it was the peasants. Unlike speck (Speck Alto Adige PGI) from the South Tyrol region, prosciutto is not smoked. There is also a tradition of making prosciutto in southern Switzerland. There is evidence of a market taking place in San Daniele as far back as 1063, so it's likely that, by this time, the curing and selling of prosciutto was commonplace in the region.
Wild boar is everywhere! They're native to Eurasia and North Africa, but they've since been introduced to the Americas and Oceania and are now one of the widest-ranging mammals in the world. Destroying crops, native vegetation, ruining water quality, they cause huge problems in the places where they're invasive.
Cab Francs are really really good
0:024 you clearly see they got 2023 a Bib Gourmand (good price-value-ratio; no star but it does not need it), so a good meal, nice place 👍
Le vostre espressioni e reazioni sono fantastiche 🤩👌🏻
Grazie mille❤️
Jadore la cuisine Italienne .❤
I had never heard of a Michelin restaurant before watching this - just the French tire company. 😂
it's actually the same company for both, interestingly enough. yes the tire company started rating restaurants back in the day.
I miss living in Friuli.
Ps... You both look like you have an euphoric food high. nice 🥰
Go Jessi! Put that bag on the chair.
