Dcl has done good for the club I think we need to get him to a place where he can perform at a high level again and then sell him to PSG when his value is high. Beto has to start for that to happen.

A few years ago a site chose Gomes as the most handsome player of the Premier League and Sean Dyche as the opposite. They wrote Dyche looks like a hitman! Dyche was the manager of Burnley at that time.

Not a classic but back to winning ways. My classic Goodison cup game was the Andy King tie vs the rs. That was a classic, also sadly the day Bill Dean passed rip 🔵⚪️
Sorry mate, but the Andy King derby was a league game! And Dixie Dean did die at Goodison after a derby game, but one we lost 2-1 a few years later.
That long ago I must be getting memories confused. I was sat in the main stand with my Dad for King’s drive, could have sworn we won it 1-0. Interestingly my cousin was playing for Everton the day Bill Dean died, could have sworn it was the same day but stand corrected and cheers for the fact check 👍🏼
@@Nckgdmn Before my time but I’m a massive anorak for these things! Jealous of anyone at that King derby, still looks amazing on the RUclips clips. We did beat Liverpool in the cup in 1981 so maybe that’s the mix up, Imre Varadi winner!

@@MikeK01fortunately there for that one too, maybe that’s where my confusion is… remember standing on Goodison Road and hearing Dean had passed, went from the high of the win to a real palpable sadness, coincidentally as we were on the way in a car with Dean and labone came past us. The crowds were huge and the car had to stop, my Dad said there’s Bill Dean go and get his autograph and I didn’t as Inwas a very shy, nervous kind of kid at the match… funny the stuff that stays with you…. Be sad to say goodbye to GP but looking forward to what memories we can make in the new stadium. UTFT we’ll be Everton forever

yep, no point in potentially injuring pickford for a low level FA game. with another deduction potentially inbound our focus is the league. nice to give virginia some game time too, and he showed he could play good football.
