This was on point about marriage and meeting the parents. I was just telling my husband this and we couldn’t agree more when you know it’s the right person then he’ll make it happen no waiting. That’s how my husband and I got married. He was ready no point waiting. He’s from NY and I’m from NC and we are in yr 4. Praises be to God!

I really loved it and felt the story in my guts. Some similar storylines to my mum's journey. My mum came to Paris when she married my dad, who left Egypt after he graduated. My mum was working and had a great life in Cairo, surrounded by friends and family. When I asked my mum her first impression of France, it was: "the apartment was so small >< but I also saw the champs elysée street pavements, and they were like in my dreams. " I am very impressed with their journey. They left their country and loved ones, to a country where they didn't speak the language. So courageous.
