Remember Gamefreak had 3 years to work on these games. If they were given another year to work on these games and stop spliting there work force up they could produce some fine games. TPCI harsh yearly release schedule is also a major part to blame.
Yeah, a lot of people are blaming the developers for this. They’ve got to remember that GameFreak has only 169 employees, and GameFreak splits up their devs in half so they can work on two games at once. So only about 84 people worked on this game. Compared to BOTW which had a little over 300 people, and despite that, it still took 5 years to make BOTW. And BOTW still has glitches and lag at some points. So if that’s the best they can do with 300 people and 5 years, obviously 90 people and 3 years won’t be able to do anything. The real company to blame is likely the Pokemon Company, for rushing out games and refusing to hire more people. The people on top are the reason the game is like this. I’d rather wait 10 years for a great game then 3 years for a horrible game. TPC is greedy, not the underpaid developers.
@@basketman2517 "Having 169 employees". Is that our problem?? They have billions of dollars and can easily hire more personnel. But they always choose to make greedy decisions. There are also other studios which release yearly games but they are very organised and know what they are doing. Also, BOTW lags in very very few areas. While this literally lags everywhere with dips below 20fps. BOTW has a very advanced physics and lightning engine while the physics of this game are close to a PS2 game as shown in that green ball scene.
@@stephkm3655 “They have billions of dollars and can easily hire more personal.” Exactly. I agree. That was literally my point. The game isn’t bad because of the developers, the game is bad because the Pokemon Company is greedy, won’t hire more people, and won’t give enough time. I’m not trying to say that BOTW’s lag is comparable to SV’s lag. I was trying to say that if even 300 people can’t make a game 100% free of lag, then obviously 90 people won’t stand a chance.
the craziest part is that this is still far from enough to push gf to do better next time 😭 after all they still have millions of sales and acclaim despite all this mess
@@Betabrawler everybody keeps blaming game freak it's not their fault it's the Pokemon company that rushes them to pair it up with the anime the Pokemon company has full control over game freak when will people realize this
@@avatarwarmech That may be true, but they still had a chance to polish the game, since they could’ve worked as a team all together to make Pokémon Scarlet & Violet instead of splitting up teams into smaller groups to make multiple different games. I feel as though Gen 9 came out too soon & I’m sure that Pokémon fans would’ve been fine waiting for gen 9 a couple years from now since Legends Arceus already came out earlier this year. Plus it’d be quality over quantity, so it’d be a big win too since we wouldn’t have to wait for Gamefreak to fix their mistakes in the next Pokémon game since they’d already get it right in this game.
Maybe february for 2 years later because how unpolished this game is, plus the open world RPG genre games needs 3 or more years to be made, this game have almost one year of developing, of course it ended up like this.

As an Indie game developer I'm so worried about fixing even the smallest bugs in my games, I wonder how can a big company sell a game full of bizarre glitches like this
I remembered when i play new pokemon games right now are most boring than old pokemon games,i love black 2,crystal and fire red,now pokemon games to me are so. Boring
If I was an indie game developer I’d probably deliberately make a bug and glitch ridden game like scarlet and violet for laughs
Highest grossing media franchise of all time, ladies and gentlemen…
When you have a 8 mins vid on a 2 days old game, you know it's gonna be good
Remember when even the spin offs were gold? Good old times. Now even the mainline sucks and is broken as hell.
Well, look on the bright side: New Pokemon Snap is one of those golden spin-offs, and it deserves your money far more.
The spin-offs are now leagues better than the main games. Like, Pokémon Snap and Pokken Tournament. The only good mainline game we’ve gotten in a long time was PLA, and even that had its glaring issues and I’m also not sure if it’s actually considered mainline or not.
Scarlet and Violet are a solid 8/10 Pokémon game without the framerate issues.

Holy shit... Didn't realize it was so bad for other people. I've had my camera go below the world, and people walking through fights, and not being able to pick up an item or two. But the rest of this is pretty sad to see on release date for a Pokemon game. Sorry to anyone who has been having these issues. It's still the best experience I've had playing Pokemon in a long time, the kind of game I wanted when I played Ruby in middle school. Hope they stick with this style and refine it for the next game.
7:19 The pokemon world's immovable object
I didn't know you could get sent to the backrooms in this game.
@@asimhussain8716 Exactly, Game Freak deserves little respect considering they never delivered a good 3D game.
You act as if 3 years wasn't more than enough time already.
the craziest part is that this is still far from enough to push gf to do better next time 😭 after all they still have millions of sales and acclaim despite all this mess

If only if this game was released on December or maybe February, It would’ve been enough time for Game Freak to patch this game 🤦🏾♂️
And gave it some proper playtest. Game Freak it's getting WAY lazier over the years.
