The Passola is a neat bike; They're very popular to mod in the JDM gentsuki style, you may want to look into it. Nice collection of JOGs and BW'S (Zuma). US market prebug Zuma has a different headlight setup (mostly due to the old DOT regulations requiring sealed beam headlamps) Lastly, the Nifty 50 is a fun bike, I have a Spree collecting dust, got it for free a while back (no title, using it as a parts bike) and an SB50P Elite E (same thing as a non-variated Honda Pal) both use pretty much the same AF05E engine, with slight differences. I like the Nifty fifty, has a round headlamp like the Honda Eve. much cooler headset than the Spree, which has a rectangular headlamp like the Eve Pax. I've been building up my SB50, getting a little more out of the stock mill until I can find a decent Af16 for a swap. Have a S23 Exhaust, carbon fiber reeds and upjetted the carburetor from a 68 main jet to a 70. I also have a S23 speed pulley for it, I will be ordering some Piaggio Typhoon/Zip clutch springs for the two-weight clutch that's in it to dial in the transmission. The exhaust and rejet was good for an extra 5 mph consistently, nearly 10 mph extra on flats with a long enough stretch. Hoping to get more with the pulley, shimming and clutch work. Not bad for a single-speed belt drive. I may mix and match parts from the Spree, many of which are compatible (rear clutch and pulley, as well as drive pulley are different from the SB50P setup)
You are on the money with the Passola. I think I won't waste to much time with the nifty motor.. I know there isn't much you can do with them. I have a spare AF18 that would suite it just fine.
We never got the Dio, or that shape jog in the UK. I've never even seen any sort of Dio. Quite rare in the States, unless you live in Hawaii. We have loads of Yamaha jogs, neos, aerox and Piaggio zips here. I had a jog RR with the aerox water cooled engine. Though most are air cooled. My mate's sister had a passola. Very slow stock. Some good stuff coming up.
Yeah only 4 versions of the jog here in Aust. Im aware of other versions in different countries however. I been looking for a Dio for ages and got this one 4000kms away. I think I might put a newer 2t motor in the pas sola when it gets its turn.
@@scooterbomb2152 I think the earliest Yamaha scooters like the passola used a chain drive system. So very limited for tuning potential. Being so light a horizontal Mina engine would make a very fun bike.
@@scooterbomb2152 Yeah, sorry! I haven’t used it yet. I wanted to wait til it got warmer here, then we are expected to move across the country. So we’ve been busy packing and decluttering since last month. Yesterday was the first time I rode my scoot around, even then it was still cold. I haven’t even dropped my 70cc BBK, carb, exhaust, crank in yet. I’m hoping next month! Cheers!
Man, jelly
Looking forward to seeing all those bikes restored and running.
Plenty to do that's for sure.
Nice collection ❤
I got a good mate that helps collect them.
Man there is some sweet bikes there. Go the dio. Big bore crazy build please. That Passola is awesome too.
Go nuts on the dio I think
Nice!
Cheers Nath
What a collection!
A few others that I didn't show. They the main ones but.
Your collection is the shit man!
Cheers mate. What should I build next?

50cc Classic Scoot museum 😀
Be cool right?
would you swap that blue seat from your zuma for a perfect conditioned black double seat?
I like the single seat just hate the colour so that will definitely have to change. I think only the really early ones had single seats yeah?
@@scooterbomb2152 yes only 1989 had single seat but i have 1999 black double seat
