I recently started trying Korean food and am happy to say that I've tried about half of the dishes on this list (japchae, bibimbap, mandu guk, pajun, bulgogi, dukbokki) plus a few others (gimbap and jajangmyeon). All have been really yummy so far so I'll definitely have to check out the other items on your list. I can't handle too spicy of foods, unfortunately (the dukbokki was way too spicy for me but tasted really good so I only had a few bites until I had to stop), but I do really like the flavor of kimchi (especially the cucumber kimchi I got at one restaurant) and gochujang. Thanks for the video, now I'm hungry.

ive had bibimbap, gimbap, and jjajjamyeong. seriously, i can survive on just those three. oh and korean fried chicken.

My mother-in-law makes kimchi soup with tofu and short ribs and I could live off it!😍 It's my go to soup when I'm sick, clears you right up. Lol there's a few on this video I haven't made with her so now I'm excited to ask her to teach me some of these. 🙂

@@RockstarEater just subscribed! I LOVED the beef bulgogi! Unfortunately I wasn’t a fan of the kimchi or seafood Pajun but I still would like to try more! The pajun had big chunks of green onion which threw me off, not sure if that’s just how the restaurant served it or maybe it’s how it’s commonly made? We are planning to try a different Korean restaurant soon!

Looking at the menu my absolute guess on which I might like the most based on vibe (like which names and ingredients i vibe on) i picked bibimbap. Turns out they make that with my absolute favorite sauce Gochujang. That's wild! I gotta get me some of this stuff.

thanks for making this video. I found it very helpful. During the spring, summer and fall I look forward to our Foot Truck Tuesdays at a local fire station. Of the trucks is KoCo Korean Food truck. Bibimbap with bulgogi to die for. Oh so good. The food trucks should be starting up in another few weeks. For dinner tonight I went to a small, local Korean restaurant (Red Tiger Korean Fusion) and ordered - - - you guessed it, bibimbap with bulgogi. Oh so good. Going to make that restaurant a regular.

If your in Boston Massachusetts. Try the Korean Restaurant in China Town. It is call the Shashia or something like that spelling. The menu was made by a Korean women, who's husband is a 9th degree, Tia Kwon Do Master. All authentic and not Americanized. Also you can get Sushi there. Pricey but worth the money. I know the owner, who is Chinese, but was married to Misses Lee daughter who's Husband is Grand Master Lee. And I know the Lee's as well. I have not found a better Authentic Korean Restaurant in all my years.

I really want to try korean food but my problem is that i'm an awkward eater...
I don't like fish or any seafood. (fish fingers is the extent of my seafood eating lmao)
I don't like egg.
I don't like mushrooms, onions, peppers, chilli's etc.
I don't like very spicy things. I can handle a little bit of spice. I can probably eat something mild but other than that I won't eat be able to eat it.
I don't like nuts.. seasame's are fine but anything else is a huge no.. i'm not allergic I just don't like the taste or texture...
Now you understand my problem... I want to stop being a picky eater but I remember trying Sushi once in a buffet place where there were foods from different countries etc. I made sure to get one that had no fish in it and I literally threw up subtly at the table and had an embarrassing run to the toilets... that wasn't fun. Also the only korean restaurants around me are quite expensive so it's like I don't wanna buy something but then end up not liking it...
There's some korean foods that doesn't have fish or fishsauce in it and isnt spicy.... I think you should try korean bbq without the chili sauce or korean short ribs with rice is pretty good
Korean BBQ isn't spicy, neither is galbi tang (갈비탕), but it's going to be difficult to find something without onions.
@@firstnamelastname4427 Yeah I will try some things out when I go out next , me and a friend are going to try some Korean foods, galbi tang will be one of them I don’t mind eating around onions haha, I don’t mind mild sweet and spicy things but nothing too hot you know? X

You need to be more respectful! Just because you didn’t like it, doesn’t mean it’s nasty. Get educated please! There’s more than just cabbage kimchi. There are different varieties like cucumber and radish etc. Wow! Have you made kimchi yourself??? It’s very healthy and has great probiotics. I know doctors who have recommended people eat it for its health benefits.
