    It was helpful to watch your video before tackling my unit. I appreciate that you've taken the time to help others out.

    Thanks!
    Vaseline/petroleum jelly also make a great lubricant for seals.

    Jim D.Thank you for viewing and I may consider your suggestion.I will say the white lithium grease has worked extremely well on my Honda engine power washer and many other applications that are revolving around a water induced application.I do appreciate your information and will consider that in the future.

    Wow, you managed to say " basically" 34 times in less than ten and a half minutes.

    Randy G. I wish I could show a complete break down of the sprayer.However My unit does not need this as I keep it in good condition.But If in the future my unit requires some service I will do a follow up video on a full tear down and reassemble as best I can.If you have a specific question I will do my best to answer that.

    Is Basically a new product on the market that he is branding?

  • @Ron1987

    Larry I will say this was a quick break down and Not to the letter.My unit did not need a complete walk thru and reason my details were not as complete as I would like myself!!If I do a follow up I will be more thorough as I agree it is not as complete as I even wanted it to be.I will not disagree with your comment as it was just a general walk thru not a start to finish job.I will say that I am very particular about instructions and while this video did not elaborate the details I would generally do it was a quick deal.Sorry if this did not seem helpful and I assure you if I do a follow up it will be far more effective and I too love the details.

      Glad it was helpful.I will say that on any newer videos I make a point to not repeat wording.Just a habit.

    White lithium is petroleum based which deteriorates o-rings. Use Magic Lube found at your local swimming pool store. 100% silicone grease food grade ect...

    • @cheek1m0nkey
      @cheek1m0nkey 4 года назад +1

      If the o ring is made of natural rubber, which is very unlikely these days, that's true. Most modern o rings are made of synthetic materials like nitrile, EPR, neoprene, etc. which would not be degraded by petroleum products.If you have silicone grease, use it, but odds are you'd be fine.

      @@cheek1m0nkey Those are said to be Viton.
      I don't know what that is though.

      @@wayneessar7489 oh yeah, that’s made for harsh environments like automotive engine compartments (e.g. turbo hoses) where you’re exposed to lots of petroleum products and other chemicals in a hi-temp condition. You’d be fine here.

    Should there be water in the pressure cylinder and if not what needs replaced? I replaced all O rings, etc that were in the repair kit.

    • @Ron1987
      @Ron1987  5 лет назад

      Let me do me do some checks.I do not think water should be inside the cylinder as it creates vacuum or pressure.Busy sorry for the delayed response.

    Please don't say" basically" again.

      I do not know to be honest.I Just came back from a trip.I think if the unit is over 5-10 years old I would just replace it with a new solo or echo and or stihl backpack sprayer if it was me.The solo at home depot is under a $100 and that is what I have.Sometimes repairing a older unit is not worth the time and buying a newer version is easier and parts are more available.Hope this helps.

    Rick H.So I am repetitive in that word.Unless you have something worth while to add or ask in the subject just stay quiet with your thoughts.And I am being polite when I state that.

    The camera is too far away and you should have shown the complete disassembly and reassembly. You're not very good at clear directions.
