I just switched up my Roth IRA to 50% SCHD, 25% SCHX, and 20% SCHG. My Roth 401k is 70% vanguard S&P 500 index, 20% vanguard growth index, and 10% vanguard international index. Seeking best possible ways to raise $1m within 2-3 years before retirement.
The issue is people have the "I want to do it myself mentality" but not equipped enough for a crash, hence get burnt. Ideally, advisors are reps for investing jobs, and at first-hand encounter, my portfolio has yielded over 300% since 2020 just after the pandemic to date.
@@M.Morgan i'm blown away! mind sharing more info please? i am a young adult living in Miami where i've encountered several millionaires, and my goal is to become one as well
Personally, I've shuffled through a few advisors in the past, but settled with Karen Lynne Chess. You'd most likely find her basic info on the internet. She's well established.
election years are historically challenging for investors, but never make financial decisions when feeling emotionally charged, rather you should consider speaking with a reputable advisor, someone of great expertise
I agree. Over 50 years of data reveals that folks who work with advisors earn more than those who do it alone. I've been fortunate to utilize a pro since the pandemic, resulting to a 7 figure portfolio after 100s of thousands invested so far.
Sophia Verdekal O'neal is is the licensed advisor I use. Just google the name. You’d find necessary details to work with and set up an appointment. To be honest, I almost didn't buy the idea of letting someone handle growing my finance, but so glad I did.
thanks for sharing, I must say Sophia appears to be quite knowledgeable... just inputted her full name on the web and at once came across her consulting page, she seems impeccable
I've got £100k to invest. I want to build a nest egg for when I'm older. I want to know if it's a good idea to add all my savings into a long term ETF, set and forget Come back in 20-30 years, instead of 250-300 DCA every month. Which ETF would you recommend?
As they say, time IN the market is better than trying to time the market. I think you should seek advice from a licensed financial advisor. They’ll give you guide on high risk and low risk investment strategies for your portfolio
Accurate asset allocation is crucial with an Experts guidance. I have 850k in equity, 275 cash earning 5.25 interest, 685k in 401k, 120k cash account, 80k in car assets ( paid off cars) Gold and silver bars. age is 48. My advisor helped me realign my portfolio to my risk tolerance and it boomed shortly.
It’s never too late to invest. Depending on your risk tolerance, I would highly recommend you look into (not financial advice) something like a target date fund which has a mixture of bonds and equities, or keeping it simple with an S&P 500 index fund or maybe a dividend growth etf depending on your goals (everyone knows I like me a good S&P 500 index fund like VOO). You just have to “ catch up” by forking up more money to invest and you could have a good nest egg if you have something like a 10-20 year time horizon.
Thanks for sharing. I curiously searched for her full name and her website popped up immediately,.. I looked through her credentials and did my due diligence before contacting her.
Hmm, I would say this is a very dividend heavy portfolio with the goal of generating high dividends. I like the portfolio honestly if you’re a dividend investor which I am 100% sure you are. If you have these funds in a Roth IRA as well that is ideal from a tax perspective. All are great funds for their own purpose and methodology. FDVV is a sleeper one that has great upside potential, schd for the great history and attractive yield with more of those boring cash flowing companies, SPYI and SVOL and JEPQ for the higher yielders with some upside potential. I like it
Could be either or but I prefer to max out a Roth IRA or your tax advantaged accounts before the taxable. Schg is a great etf but not a direct comparable to schd, hence why it was not included but schg is a excellent fund!
I've been investing in Bitcoin by myself. I'm not really happy with what's going on, just few weeks ago I lost about $7,000 in a particular trade. Can you help me out or at least advise me on what to do?
I've heard that index funds and ETFs provide diversified stock market exposure while spreading risk. I have over $800K in savings; What's the most effective strategy to allocate funds in my portfolio and generate profits?
Yes, there are strategies that could be put in place for solid gains regardless of economy situation, but such execution is usually carried out by an investment specialist
Right, a lot of folks downplay the role of advisors until being burnt by their emotions, no offense. I remember some years back, during the covid-outbreak, I needed a good boost to stay afloat, hence researched for advisors and thankfully came across one with grit. As of today, my cash reserve has yielded from $350k to nearly $1m
Same here., I strongly agree that the Bitcoin ETFs approval will be greatly life opportunity for us, with my current portfolio of $102,500 from my investments with my personal financial advisor Steve Miley I totally agree with you😊
YES!!! That's exactly his name (Steve Miley) so many people have recommended highly about him and am just starting with him from Brisbane Australia...🇦🇺
He's my family's personal Broker and also a personal Broker to many family's in the United states, he is licensed and a FINRA AGENT in the United States.
Both serve different risk tolerances and types of investors. If you’re more capital appreciation and growth oriented with dividends along the way with a higher risk tolerance then schd + schg. But if you have a touch lower risk tolerance with as a pure dividend investing strategy where you want dividends more than capital appreciation focused then dgro + schd.
I am currently combining DIVB, SCHD, GPIX, and JEPQ and think this combo brings a good mix of great dividends with capitol appreciation along with some good risk mitigation to boot.
