Official Anthem Of Georgian SSR
The Georgian SSR was one of the 15 union republics of the Soviet Union located in the Caucasus. It was formed on February 25, 1921. The Georgian SSR had its capital in the city of Tbilisi, which was also the largest city of the republic.
Agriculture was developed in the Georgian SSR, especially winemaking and farming. The republic was famous for its vineyards which produced famous Georgian wines. In addition, heavy and light industry, science and culture were developed in the Georgian SSR.
The Georgian SSR had its own constitution, councils of people's deputies, and its own flag and coat of arms. The republic used Georgian as an official language.
However, in 1991, after the collapse of the Soviet Union, the Georgian SSR declared its independence and became a sovereign state called Georgia. Since then, Georgia has become an independent state, developing its economy, culture and politics independently.
