@@ryu551 I don’t think they were implying that he would have it easy being friends with them more so that he plays this game 24 seven and has just about everything you would need in order to take something down and is yet still struggling. 😅
Bro, these are the hardest raids we have ever done, and our rewards are an encounter, a rare candy, a golden razz and a max revive. Definitely worth the time of 25-40 trainers when we can get literally the exact same thing from one star raids for less than a third of the cost.
@@feIon it’s good, I won’t disagree, but when we can get that and more from normal gym raids, which are severely easier, I still count it as extremely disproportionately unrewarding.
What they SHOULD have done, is make it so by feeding MP to a pokemon it enables it to dynamax, the amount of MP required would scale similarly to how long you would walk a buddy to get a candy (so like 100MP, 300MP, 500MP, 1000MP and like 4000MP for legendaries). You then strengthen their max moves the same way we currently do (mp + candy and candy xl). At least this way we're able to choose our best mons to use after a bit of grinding. Catching a mon from a max battle would skip that initial mp investment required to enable dmax.
@DrunkenSoda word, I have no friends in my state or country. However I went on campfire and 500+ are meeting up to do these G-Max Raids. Now I don't expect all 500 who claim they are going to go but a lot of people will show up. It's not going to be as hard as players are saying.
@DrunkenSoda Thanks, I think the hardest part will be actually catching them. I don't have any master balls and I'm afraid I'll lose my MP and it will run.
Why would they release g-max so soon after just releasing dynamax? That gives players such a small amount of time to get and power up dynamax mons to take down g-max pokemon
the whole separation of dynamax and gigantamax is the biggest scam ive ever heard of. so stupid...they had potential to make this a decent new addition, but nope. Typical Niantic fashion
Just watched cricket on live stream they are doing it with 17 no mons above level 40. But she did power 3 of hers to level 40 . Blastoise looks extremely tough
I think regardless 18+ people for just one raid is ridiculous. The most people I've had in one group would be 13 people during last years go fest. And that was in a city.
If its barely possible for groups of 30+ its actually straight up impossible for 90% or more of players. Even the biggest groups in my region struggle to get more than 15-20 people in for any event and that includes gathering people from around the region.
Saw people saying they were struggling with a full 40 lobby, don't think I'm going to get a gigantamax any time soon. Is there any benefit to having them outside of max dens? Thinking of a mega type of deal
I'm glad I was planning on skipping Gigantimax raids and not do any Dynamax raids that are above 1 star these new raids/battles whatever you want to call them are becoming too difficult for anyone to do that's why if I do continue to do the Dynamax raids/battles I only do the 1 star and even then once I complete the evolutionary line of whatever pokemon are in them I quit I'm a solo player and honestly probably will always be a solo player I don't do gbl and very rarely do raids so hunting for hundos, shundos, or even shinys from raids just isn't worth it they're all cool and when I do get shinys and hundos from raids or events it's exciting and I'm happy but I don't actively go after them unless it's a community day then I do actively shiny hunt unfortunately my shiny luck on community days has recently pretty much been been great for Ponyta community day I mostly got Kanto shinys and towards the end I got 2 Galarian Ponyta that's it I did a little better on this month's community day but looking towards next month I'm not optimistic about having any shinys and will consider myself lucky if I can even complete the shiny family
Dynamax hasnt been out long enough for this to be pushed out. I havent caught any meta dynamax with good ivs :/ feel bad for the 12 regulars in my town when they try.
My only fear, is that Gigantamax Pokémon being Mega evolution type Pokémon, to me that would most definitely be a deal breaker, my only two “powerful” Dynamax Pokémon are Metagross and Charizard, only because I have their three abilities at lvl one (yeah I know their not maxed out) but hey, at least I can heal the team and reduce damage taken. Still, if Gigantamax Pokémon are like mega evolution Pokémon (only being usable for certain period of time) it’s not going to be worth it for me, already I don’t take full advantage of the mega evolution because I don’t use Pokémon go for 8 hours straight, I only play when I have free time at college and my house.
Dang, I was gonna try to organize with people in my area to do a few but 25+ to maybe beat it just isn't worth even trying. Hopefully they quickly realize they need to rework how these are done
Yes! That's definitely part of it, especially if you don't have a powered up mon that is of much use, you want heals and guard instead to just last as long as you can.
😂😂 it’s hysterical they think an 8y/o game with a declining player base can routinely round up 20-25 ppl for these Gmax raids when you can take most T6 raids with like 5-6 accts. Mantis is taking things in the wrong direction and trying to force player interaction. Along with the fact we can’t even remote these it’s lunacy.
i think it should be doable with only like 10 people with no struggle. most legendary and mega raids are like that so why no do the same with gigantamax? also when one of your top dog players complains about a new feature being too brutal or hard, you know you gotta nerf it. i just hope they nerf it before it reaches my town
Has anybody said how many max particles it takes to join one of these raids. We can carry over unused ones from the day before. Then only earn so many a day. In addition to needing a lot of people I suspect you can only do so many a day. As of now I won't be participating. Good luck to everyone who plays.
Ya know I’m from a small town and it’s bullshit cause we like Pokémon go and we don’t even have enough people to play what a joke this is thank Ak for the heads up and we was all excited to be shit on like that
So use a bunch of startdust on the pokemon that will become usless immediately after beating the gigantimax. IF you beat it, which i dont think my local community even has 30 players.
Honestly? G-Max shoulda been T4, and then leave Eternamax Eternatus at T6. Because the implication is that is G-Max is T6 then what exactly will Eternamax Eternatus be? T8???! Heck no.
In short Gmax was & is a shite show. First raids where overpowered to the point they were unbeatable regardless of numbers, second round got nerfed so were beatable with around 15 players using Dmax mons powered up to around lv 40 with maxed out attack. We had 9 accounts for the second wave, none powered up enough, we did less than 5% damage before everyone's pokemon had fainted & 2 accounts got the freeze bug for a second time at the start & couldn't do anything. At that point most the people there called it quits & left. In short- we had Gmax raids all around us but only 4 accounts willing to do them by 11:30, so it was impossible to do them & no one got any done. No one wants to invest millions of dust in such limited use pokemon. So well done Niantic for excluding & disincentivising players from bothering with doing Gmax raids 🤦♀👎
25+ people is an absolute NO-GO for me. I am not wasting that much startdust on a dead end Pokemon.
I feel like the concept is so rushed
I m out of all max revives 😶
You know it’s serious when FleeceKing was struggling

Agreed.

I wonder how the Niantic Defenders are gonna defend this 😅
They can't lol
Ik the Niantic Defenders are gonna call me a “hater” but Gigantamax is 🗑 and that’s that
I'm with you. 40 people is not a good look for Niantic
Yah basically these mons are equivalent to a costume pokemon. Until I see greater rewards, it's not worth it.
It's definitely a pass for me. Not enough people, for sure.
I think it's too early they should have done dynamax for a good 6 months to a year before gigantamax
I’m in Aus and me and 29 other trainers, many level 45+ and we failed. This feature sucks, another L for Niantic. Like what?!
what a joke. such a resource sink on purpose
25 people isnt enough, youl fail with even 40 trainers because only few people actually have good dynamax pokemon and the rest will just die
Just watched cricket on live stream they are doing it with 17 no mons above level 40. But she did power 3 of hers to level 40 . Blastoise looks extremely tough
It’s gonna be a dead feature they need to tweak it or make them Remote-able that would solve this.
Yep, they should’ve been remoteable from the beginning, it’s absurd that they’re not
I am never spending dust and candies on dynamax/gigantamax Pokemon. Thank you for this information, Poke AK.
I think regardless 18+ people for just one raid is ridiculous. The most people I've had in one group would be 13 people during last years go fest. And that was in a city.
Don’t worry after people complain enough Niantic will make it easier
Trust me they won’t. Niantic doesn’t care anymore. They only care about making money
@@Mytesmyth oh you’re. I forgot they don’t care about the community lmao
@@Mytesmyth Can't wait for them to release max soup as a premium paid item that gives you a gigantamax without all this effort
There not even 40 players in my town that play and I have the most maxed out Pokemon out everyone in my area if that is going to say anything.
Guess I'm never doing one of these. Niantic hates their rural players, sadly. I'll stick to the normal raids.

I saw a content creator had 32 players and they can run to poke a few players didn't manage to Atcham a gigantic blastoist3 cause it had run away
Where will I get 20+ trainers where I'm from. Crazy. :(
1:44 hopefully not, kriket was saying she had a group of about 17 and not everyone was maxed out
It divides you into teams of 4 so needs communication on max guard/spirit use also
The fact that level three max moves use 40 fucking XL candies is a deal breaker, no way would I even consider dropping that many XLs.
You a real one, thanks poke ak. take my like and share
Finally, an actual challenge! 🙂
This is not reasonable anymore 😢
How are Singapore grandmas suppose to beat this?

30+ locals in person to beat a raid is madness unless you live in times square, NYC lmao
Did a Gigantamax raid that had 38 people in it and we failed. Barely, but that just shouldn't be a thing....
I got a Lucky Hundo Scorbunny, which i evolved all the way, and I can not use it since it was not caught in a dynamax raid. Total bs, honestly...

One guard (individual) players 1 heal plus 1 max attack. Slow and study is the way I think. We can beat these with speed like mega raids and 5 stars

I love it when my community of 10 people have zero chance at a gmax pokemon👍
We will get 10 in my area if Ur lucky. But 30 is ridiculous
You get 10 balls and can run!! 😂
Yeah, need Golden Razz for it like a legendary raid.
Already got my shundo giantmax charzard till we see a use i am gonna call it there
