Hi Achim, the control surfaces of a submarine are called "diving planes" or just "hydroplanes" in English. Depending on the usage and navy, they have specific terms for specific diving planes, e.g., the "Tiefenruder" are called "fairwater planes" in the US Navy.
I remember my German boss used to bring in little projects. He had no fucking idea about boat building. He would end up getting one of us to help because he found it too difficult. We would all know how it was going to work out. A few weeks would go by and he would start whinging about a job is now behind the deadline time. He would then blame us. So after many times of this, we simply refused to help him. He would then go on a rant about, why do I have employees, if they are not willing to help. 🤦♂️😆 Seeing you doing your little project brought back memories
hi Achim, are there any good benefits of using a green laser, commonly in those dive lights? Best I can think of is signalling if you're a lost diver, but a signal mirror doesn't need battery.
