This is true. Without Joe and his crew, his family probably would not meet him again. I am just sad that his family did not initiated this to happen way way before since Danny had been homeless for almost eight months.
Anyone else notice that at the beginning of his first video Danny had so much PAIN in his eyes and now you can see a huge difference today in his healing process. Goes to show that anyone can change.
Sleeping rough on the beach- every door shut to his face... Organizations who are supposed to help- didn't help.... No job, no money for bus. Nothing.... 40 years inside of school of hate and anger... Violence /murder surrounded him in prison.... It was matter of time he did something stupid out of desperation.... Really Joe, Dave and Cody saved this man life! And I agree- he wasn't in position to visit his family earlier. Now it was perfect time!
Yup, I also witnessed the pain in his eyes. You could literally see the sadness and frustration that man went through. I'm so happy and relieved this expression has completely vanished. Just look at the smile on Danny's face. In the first few videos, he told everybody that he forgot how to smile. Now that same man has a toothy grin from ear to ear. God bless you, Danny!!! 🙏
An episode or two ago I commented with the beginning of my comment saying something like "To Danny my role model," and I received one response back which was someone making fun of the fact I called him my role model. Through the APS videos, I have been shown proof that if one truly wants its, they CAN overcome adversity. That is why I say role model. Not for his past actions, but for who he is. This video radiates who he is. Love to all of the APS army

Joe, I sincerely believe that you, dave, cody and the aps army saved Danny's life and soul. Before when you first met him he was ready to go back to jail, didn't care and for all we know could've been hurt or killed if that happened, or just never found employment and lost hope. But now, after you all gave him a chance, and he worked hard to make sure it wasn't for nothing he has a home, employment, reunited with his family and everything he thought hed'd never have again. As far as I'm concerned, very few people can even hold a candle to you, and the aps crew. What you're doing is so big, and significant I'm not even sure you realize it. You guys have become some of my idols and I want to help spread positivity and word of aps.

First smart phone I got I took a picture for a month every time I answered a call. I had like 150 pictures of my kitchen table on it lol, never understood why.

Im part of a prison ministry. Im so greatful to APS for telling these stories. Its easy to just dismiss them as they deserved it but they are human, children of God and worthy of a second chance. They are our brothers and cousins, uncles, fathers... I still remember the fresh eyes looking at all the wonders after just 10 years so this touches my heart. These men need lots of support...even if its just a call to say, hey, your on my mind, hows your head, whats up? I started to cry when he got to his sisters place.

Steven Neal I was crying the entire video ❤️ But, when hed always mentioned his mom and dad and how important visiting their graves and the pure love of a man who is so selfless and so proud of his parents and knowing he missed them so much, what a beautiful gravestone from such a loving very close family, siblings, children, it just shows how much love they gave their kids. I just bumped into AfterPrisonShow and Danny a few days ago. And there are no words to describe how much I respect Danny for telling his story. Yes it is interesting and very detailed but honest. I can´t imagine what it is like to step into this modern world after being locked up for 40 years. Not that technology etc. has changed a lot but the society too.. values... what people think shocking today etc. everything must be so very different. And it is true what people say in the comments.. at first we could see .. I would almost say horror in Dannys eyes. The stress from the everyday stuff... job.. rent etc. But as we see he has help and from this video I can see that there is already some spark in your eyes Danny. You are starting to smile and relax. That is so nice to see. I will continue to watch these videos for sure and follow your new journey. You now have at least one person from Finland who keeps you in his thoughts ;)
@@babayega_ The man did his time, what is the point for all this hate? He spent more than half his life in prison. He clearly has changed and evolved for the better. Times were a lot more dire and savage, when Danny was growing up. He didn't have the luck of being born on the easy street life has become, and still people fail at life, even today.
I kinda do get your point, I thought about that too, someone who does wrong becomes a hero, they make movies about him, that motivates young kids to become thugs. But in Danny’s case you can tell he has changed, and like the other guy said he did he’s time. And he doesn’t brag about he’s criminal background

Im part of a prison ministry. Im so greatful to APS for telling these stories. Its easy to just dismiss them as they deserved it but they are human, children of God and worthy of a second chance. They are our brothers and cousins, uncles, fathers...
I still remember the fresh eyes looking at all the wonders after just 10 years so this touches my heart. These men need lots of support...even if its just a call to say, hey, your on my mind, hows your head, whats up? I started to cry when he got to his sisters place.

I just bumped into AfterPrisonShow and Danny a few days ago. And there are no words to describe how much I respect Danny for telling his story. Yes it is interesting and very detailed but honest. I can´t imagine what it is like to step into this modern world after being locked up for 40 years. Not that technology etc. has changed a lot but the society too.. values... what people think shocking today etc. everything must be so very different. And it is true what people say in the comments.. at first we could see .. I would almost say horror in Dannys eyes. The stress from the everyday stuff... job.. rent etc. But as we see he has help and from this video I can see that there is already some spark in your eyes Danny. You are starting to smile and relax. That is so nice to see. I will continue to watch these videos for sure and follow your new journey. You now have at least one person from Finland who keeps you in his thoughts ;)

Times were a lot more dire and savage, when Danny was growing up. He didn't have the luck of being born on the easy street life has become, and still people fail at life, even today.
