Hey guys, I just wanted to stop by to send some positive energy to all of you! These past years been very tough to me. Ive been challenged mentally, emotionally and certainly spiritually. I feel like i’m finally finding myself and who I was once before when I had peace. I am thankful to come across a channel like this one that shows me that we are really all one in the same. We all have these daily struggles that we deal with that can keep us up late at night but just know that you are not alone. Knowing that I can come here and openly express myself and see others doing the same gives me hope that the world will indeed be a better place but it starts with us. That Bible verse is misunderstood by many. The Lord in Leviticus have the law on dietary code, there are things that defle the temple of God( making you unclean) the Lord was responding the the disciples that were with him and did not wash their hands prior to eating and the pharasees condemed the act. Out Lord dismissed the accusations of them defiling thier bodies by not washing their hands dby statng your aforementioned bible verse because they were in the presence of the bridegroom therefore being in the presence of the Lord they could not defile their be bodies by what they ate with unclean hands because they were in the presence of the Lord.😊

The nagging inner-voice is what keeps a person confused and full of anxiety. These are the voices of the people in our lives who have brainwashed and pathologized us. They're the voices of a teacher, a parent, a youtuber, a professor; the voices inside of us are not our own. I practice letting the thoughts pass so that the voice of the "real me" can raise to the top, superceding the ego that has made a home in me.

    • @serban2139

The trauma we go through as children that's caused by the adults in our life. Mainly our parents. Especially with parents who abuse or show impatience. In order to get along, we adopt alter egos, which begin to layer on top of the "real" you. Our own voice is snuffed out and we adopt the voices of others in order to get along.
Speaking for myself: when I realized all of this I went to the person in my life who traumatized me the most, my mother, and told her all that she did to me was wrong but I forgive her. The same truama I went through was done to her as well and the generational trauma gets passed down over and over. It was only through forgiveness that I could be "me" again, and the real inner voice began to overcome the fake voices. I am still in the process of shedding these alter egos that I adopted. I had to come to the realization that I hated and judged my own mother for the way she treated me, when she was treated just as bad; she was not in control of her actions. I've been free ever since.

It acquires society's and other people's values so you're accepted by others, so you can have social attachments and live in society. That's yhe part of your mind that tells you "don't wear that, you're gonna be judged", "don't say that", "you're not good enough, try harder", etc. Even though it's purpose is to protect you it ends up doing more harm than good because you end up forgetting to be who you truly are

When two people are having a conversation usually at least one of them is just waiting to speak, thinking about what they're going to say next and not listening to what's being said. There are people that can't wait for the other person to stop talking and interject which is quite rude as well as disrespectful. I don't know what has happened to me but I used to be the one that was always talking, the rude one interrupting. Something changed in me a few years ago and I can't put my finger on it. Nowadays I don't talk nearly as much but I listen and pay more attention to everything.

00:00 🗣 Excessive talking can create disharmony and superiority complexes, as seen in the story's talkative disciple who sought recognition through speech.
01:39 🤫 The challenge of silence: The disciple undertakes a resolution of silence for a month, initially thinking it's easy but faces increasing mental burden and uneasiness.
03:39 💭 Inner turmoil: The disciple, maintaining outward silence, struggles with internal voices and restlessness, seeking guidance from the Buddhist monk.
05:28 🧘‍♂ The journey within: To truly embrace silence, the monk advises the disciple to distance himself from inner chatter and thoughts, advocating mindfulness and presence.
08:41 🔄 Transformation through solitude: After three months in seclusion, the disciple returns remarkably changed, exhibiting a newfound sense of peace and tranquility.
10:12 🌿 Discovering true silence: In the forest, the disciple experiences genuine peace, hearing nature's sounds distinctly, and comprehends the essence of silence for the first time.
11:46 🤐 Speaking wisely: The monk emphasizes the negative impact of excessive talking, urging moderation in speech to preserve energy and delve inward.
12:54 🧠 Conservation of energy: The story teaches that unnecessary speech wastes energy, hindering the inward journey; true seekers of inner wisdom should practice restraint in speech.

Fantastic one. How to overcome emotional provocation and manipulation from others without becoming emotionally burned out and becoming emotionally strong too? Can you explain how to handle this situation without hurting ourselves?

I fear I shouldn't write here, because I allowed my mind to speak.
I do understand the curse... I live it.
It's time to live in the Present...
Now I can "be still and know that I Am ..."

8:03 The Buddha achieved enlightenment by breaking free from worldly desires. What are these desires, and how can we, in our modern world, begin to detach from them in a meaningful way?

May you rise with the dawn, in the light's sweet embrace,
Embrace every challenge, with unwavering grace.
With each step you take, on this journey you chase,
May your dreams be your guide, your heart set the pace.
In the face of adversity, let your spirit be strong,
As you paint your path brightly, with courage along.
With determination as your anchor, you'll belong,
To the realm of achievers, where dreams throng.
So here's my wish, wrapped in a poetic display,
May your aspirations lead you on this fine day.
In the pursuit of your goals, come what may,
May success be your companion, in every way. 🌟
