I like the fact that the rook can only move on g8 and anything else on 8-rank will be blunder because the queen will be baited to cover d5 after taking that rook
It's not like king can't actually go there, but doing it will result in Black's h pawn outrunning White's king and it will simply be a dead lost position for white.
just 1 thing… keep working on the game, identify your main weaknesses or ask a close friend who knows your games to tell you what you should be focusing on. And remember, rather than wkg on the game 2h on the week end, its better to do 20 min every single day. OK, some thing I didn’t learn though I got a custom chess game that you can move pieces to if you just take Blacks pond, you will lose your pond, but black not make any more queens. If you just kill the queen, while black king is protecting them with the rock, you’re good just make sure the kings right there then you’re working kill the pond checkmate, but the rock.
This happened to me, my friend had a rook and a pawn I had a pawn we both queened but I was a rook down so I thought there was no way to win so I let his rook take my queen and he thought I didn't know what I was doing that 8 blundered but after the rook took my queen, it was stalemate
it is not a draw i you can put the black king in a position which it is forced to give up the pawn you can promote to a queen and do king and queen mate
After sacrificing da roook if the king takes the king goes to d8 then we can move our king to b7 next move we take the pawn then protect our pawn after that we can draw by move repetition
The lesson: Do not exchange pieces, but sacrifice them!
