There are many subtle, simple characters to draw from. Tripti Dimri in Qala had an inner world however there were enough expressions and a subtle performance. I am unable to understand why any constructive criticism is being termed as trolling and negativity. Why can't this be an opportunity for learning and growth for Sharmin?

I totally agree.I found Shermins acting credible in the context of the characters times, when girls were taught to be demure and tehzeeb meant not to be overly effusive or expressive. Please don't evaluative her through the lense of the 21st century womens body language..For eg how many black and white pics has one seen of smiling women or tawaifs.The body language of women was very different 150 years back. I liked Shermans acting.
Shermin did justice to her character. You don't always have to be loud and out. Acting can be internal, subtle, submissive and low key and that's hard to do. Her eyes and voice melted my heart.
Whatever you say to cover....but sharmin was the worst choice of Mr. Banshali....
