One of my favorite Ravel pieces, with its lush melancholy and evocative mood. This is a particularly lovely and sensitive interpretation, letting the piece breathe in all the right places. The middle section gets me every time no matter how often I hear it, it's just so deeply emotional. Thank you for posting this.
Beautiful. The key to Maurice Ravel's music is a carefully considered performance with thorough attention to detail along with a solid overall conception of what is being presented in the piece.. This is that kind of a performance!
I'm so pleased you have discovered Ravel. His music makes being alive a transcendent experience. There is a wonderful recording of Ravel's complete piano music that you might enjoy. ruclips.net/video/mBDDOqwQ2XY/видео.html&ab_channel=PianoClassics
Oh, wow! Ravel is incredible-he is my favorite composer. His piano works are sublime, yes, but his orchestral works are unbelievably stunning and worth your time as well. Might I recommend the “Daybreak” Movement from his “Daphnis et Chloe” Suite; I get chills and tears every time. ❤️ His “Ma Mére l`Oye” Suite is also brilliant.
Uh, that's very difficult to say. I guess to somehow get through, you might at least need five years (but it depends a lot on talent and how much you practice), but to make it sound well will take a lot longer... I don't think there is a definite answer to this...
Because on that day (long ago) I only had two hours recording time including soundcheck, and already four pieces of Miroirs were quite a challenge in that narrow time frame and Alborada just didn‘t fit anymore…
I love the magic in it. One of the most beautiful piano pieces on earth.

Bravo is the masculine way of saying it. Brava is the feminine version. So, Brava would be correct in this instance.
Superb performance. The orchestrated version is also enjoyable, but it's the piano and this artist in particular, that express so much more feeling.
Wunderschön! Mit Ravel öffnen sich neue Welten.
God this piece is dark. I’m in love with it
"Dark?" Or perhaps just really very sad?
❤Ravel understands the "eastern style"so deep in his music mind. And the performancer understands Ravel so much. How come •••and how beautiful •••••😊.
Wonderfully played! A very polished performance.
Amazing touch 🖤
I love it
Wonderful performance!
Magnifique interprétation !

The expression is like you have a choir behind you bravooo
reminds me of plin plin plon from Dark Souls
Do I detect Asian scales in this one.
^..^~~
I enjoyed every second of this performance
so lovely!
I think the title came after the music as in Schumann
Debussy did that a lot as well.
Majestic. Thank you for such profound performance.
How long does it take to learn that when i cant play piano yet?

Because on that day (long ago) I only had two hours recording time including soundcheck, and already four pieces of Miroirs were quite a challenge in that narrow time frame and Alborada just didn‘t fit anymore…
