    Do you know that four out of every five new jobs in SA over the past five years were created in the DA governed Western Cape??
    If you want to live in a successful and prosperous country where people have jobs and where our country's infrastructure, including public schools and especially public hospitals really work, then vote for the DA and Multi Party Charter to make it happen!!

    You have to look at the whole picture ito Ecenomic Development.People pay for where the live .So how do poor people contribute to the Economy.The make use of Public Transport, they have to take Taxi's to go to the Malls and they have to take public Transport to go to hospitals..Also probably 90% of the poor and middle class work in shops and retail.Which is also one of the big contributors to Economic growth, etc. People eg in M/ Plain pay rates and Taxes so that is just one if the perks for living in for example Constantia as to Langa? So in some way their is some balancing. So if 90% people are poor and middle-class and only 10% rich..there is some sort of balancing I would think.Then lastly having worked in Community Development for more than 10 years, when it comes to allocating of Budget where does the resources goes too.Try talking to people whom have worked in LG ..what is said and what is done is 2 different things

    What basic services do you offer to the poor in Cape Town?
    If DA was serious about equally, then they could have demonstrated that in CT all these years. CT is the most unequal province and apartheid has grown and would be like pre 1994.
    In actual fact, CT ensures that the rich become richer and poor much poorer. My opinion

    • @ProcaviaCapensis-ts8ub
      @ProcaviaCapensis-ts8ub 4 месяца назад +6

      The Household Survey of 2022 will show you that the WC gets better services than any other province. It's only 177 pages long. You should read all of it.
      Cape town is not a province , but regardless of your lack of understanding of the difference between the 2 , can you provide any factual evidence that either Cape Town or the Western Cape are the most unequal in SA ?
      No ?
      I thought not.

      Yes, indeed it is. Colonialism left MANY good things, it just wasn't a workable concept in Africa, because of massive cultural differences. Blacks should rather accept the positives and work with them, and move on.

  • @troy1709-h5f
    @troy1709-h5f 4 месяца назад +8

    The one child policy in China, also known as the "One Child Rule," was a population control policy implemented from 1979 to 2016. While it was not specifically designed to eliminate poverty, it was intended to reduce population growth and alleviate related social and economic issues, including poverty.
    1. Reduced population growth: By limiting family size, the policy contributed to a slower population growth rate, which in turn reduced the number of people living in poverty.
    2. Increased investments in education and healthcare: With fewer children to support, families and the government could invest more in education and healthcare, leading to improved human capital and reduced poverty.
    3. Increased economic growth: By reducing the burden of a large population, the policy may have contributed to China's rapid economic growth, which lifted millions out of poverty.

      @@tracy-leighkruser4739 So you don’t actually know. You’re just speaking in riddles and vaguely. The situation is complex, and the solution to the problem even more complex. Taking land from people that made it profitable and giving that land to people without a clue what to do can make people feel good but it isn’t in the best interests of the country.
